Is this really it?

[The half-incredulous tone of a guy who is obviously gearing up for an impassioned speech of some sort, but still valiantly fighting the urge.]

Something about symbolically burning the whole damn thing down to the ground comforts Markus enough that he moves on from suggesting outright revolt. For now.]

I'm not moving into a stranger's home, so no one living in De Chima #004 has to worry about a new roommate. And if anyone would like to be a dating app developer, the position is currently up for grabs.

I'm currently residing in an alternate universe of my own world. I think a little suspension of disbelief is in order when it comes to someone else's story.

...okay. Well uh...Nazis got involved. We were caught in a war between cultists, robot nazis and ourselves trying to just to fix this shit and try to save the world.

[He looks back at him like 'i'm sorry those words came out of my mouth'.]

Anyway alternate universes, huh? Y-yeah that's one way to look at it.

Nah, not at all honestly. Hearing about others having a normal life is kinda nice to be honest.

It's a lot like this one. -fashion's pretty different, technology's...definitely followed another path, but a lot of the names are similar. No big monster fights to speak of, no rumors coming true unless someone makes them happen.

Most of the names here are weird to me since I've been livin' in Japan all of my life. As for technology uh...I guess I didn't mention that I come from 1999. Just the phones here still really amaze me.

What type of technology difference? Did you guys go steampunk or something like that?

Something like that. The poodle skirts definitely didn't stick around as long as they did here. [Let's not get into the whole "we rose up against our masters and I'll fuckin do it here too if I gotta" part.]

If you're from Japan, would you be more comfortable if we were speaking Japanese? [Though his English sounds fluent...]

Eh don't worry about it bro, to me it sounds like you're speaking Japanese...I think? Probably with the nanomachines, I never really figured it out myself.
