14. Miser-cheese Loves Company (topped with 3 kinds of cheese)
[Tina decides to do this post in text; otherwise it'd be hard to hide how torn she still is about this idea.]
Mom and I are going to be moving to Heropa soon.
not right away, we need time to pack and find a house and everything, but maurtia falls isn't safe for me any more
I still like it there but i can't defend myself well, and I can't have people around me to protect me 24 hours a day, so it feels like the longer i'm there the more likely it is that something bad's going to happen
so be prepared!! the Tina tornado is going to take heropa by storm!!! and the linda... lightning bolt??
let me know what's good there as far as shopping and entertainment and stuff too

well, one time we found this thing on the beach called Ambergris. it's very valuable but illegal to buy and sell.
[insert a web link here]
louise went a little crazy trying to find someone to sell it to anyway and was about to hand it off to a criminal. she's 9 and it didn't occur to her that the guy might rob her. i swapped it out with a fake and ended up destroying the real ambergris because otherwise she could have gotten seriously hurt. plus if she had ended up with $30,000 she didn't think about how to explain to Mom and Dad where it came from
or the police for that matter

[ And definitely a whole lot crazier than Baelish had anticipated when he asked the question! He expected normal kid antics....like sneaking into locked buildings or accidentally breaking windows. Not....coming toe to toe with criminals. ]
Your sister truly was lucky to have you there. Did your parents ever find out about the situation?

they didn't, thankfully. louise was pretty adamant that we needed to keep it secret because then they would stop her. she barely spoke to me for a week afterward. i didn't care as long as it was gone and we were okay

but i'm a big softy when it comes to my siblings, too. sometimes i have to keep their secrets because it helps keep the peace, and that's a good thing when we spend most of our waking hours together
or because they could implicate me, that happens too ;)
