[ When the entry opens up with the camera tipped awkwardly off to the side to show a lit and clean kitchen, there's a faint sniffling off-screen. Another sound follows, someone sighing and then clearing their throat. It has to be done, it needs to be addressed.
Leia's there then, the camera moving to face her and show her pale but ready to speak. Or so she thought, her eyes dropping down to her lap where the velvet box sits open and out of sight. A quick brush of her fingers, a tear trekking down her cheek is caught and wiped away as she looks up again.
Her shoulders square. Inside, she's not sure how to deal with this loss. On screen, now, she's keeping that swirl of emotions under wraps, her words wavering only slightly enough to betray how well she might appear to be handling this.
This is just another loss for the books. A heavier loss on her part, and likely some others she might know who were...close with him. ]
It would appear that Han Solo is no longer in De Chima. Or...here, for that matter. He's left some things behind— I'll be reaching out soon to meet up and pass them on.
I need... [ Leia trails off. Once more her eyes are downcast to her lap and her brows knit as the emotion bares itself unexpectedly. The ring box is snapped shut and the camera jerkily moves as she's hurling the box out of the kitchen, hissing tightly, almost snappily: ] —damn you.
[ The feed goes dark, connection cut short. ]

If there's anything I can do, please let me know. It's no trouble, ever.

Her voice is strained by emotion yet calm. ]
Kanan. Thank you. I appreciate that. [ A short pause. ] I... I never expected to find myself alone this morning.

I'll miss him, too.

He left you something.

[Not that she didn't think he considered her a friend as well, but that's very thoughtful for Han.]

Han Solo and Leia Organa are two of those names. He knows from earlier network conversations that the two of them are his enemies in the future and for that reason he’s stayed away, despite the curiosity gnawing away at him.
When he first sees this post, his first reaction is surprise. He hadn’t expected Solo to port out and he finds he’s disappointed by the news. However, the part of him still stubbornly clinging to those incoherent half-memories from all the months ago sees only an opportunity to learn more.
It only takes a quick search of the online imPort “Wiki” the locals maintain to find Organa’s address. After that, it’s simply a manner of showing up at her door wearing an appropriately somber expression. He’s forgone gloves today, though he keeps his hands shoved into his pockets. He won’t even need to take anything—he hasn’t used this power much, but he knows he only has to touch an object for a brief moment to glimpse its owner’s memories.
When Leia answers the door, she’ll find a young stranger standing there, eying her cautiously.]
I heard about what happened to Han, [he says, before she can ask who he is.] Is it okay if I come in?

Leia's eyes are drawn down to a young gentleman instead. He knew Han..? This kid isn't one of those troublesome kids Han would drive around is it? ]
Of course. [ She steps back to let him in and waits to shut the door behind him. ] You knew Han?
no subject
Yes, [he says, parroting a premeditated lie.] He helped me out when I first got here.
[If there’s one thing he can say about this planet, it’s that it’s made him into a better liar—and he’d been pretty good at it to begin with. His eyes scan the room, looking for anything Solo might’ve left behind. He wants to ask about it immediately, but he knows it would be better to ease into the subject. The last thing he needs is to be mistaken for a common thief.]
When did he port out? I hadn’t heard about it before your post.
no subject
[ She's not surprised. As much as Han would deny it, deep down, he would always be there to help others. ]
Sometime this morning. [ About to offer him something to drink or ask if he wanted to sit, she pauses. ] I'm sorry, I'm not sure what your name is...
no subject
My name is Lucky, [he says, the practice of assuming the pseudonym so familiar that he doesn’t even hesitate.] And your name is… [He pauses, turning his gaze slightly upwards as if trying to remember.] Leia, right?

I'm so sorry. this place is so unfair.
can I do anything for you?
text
It has its moments.
I appreciate the offer, thank you. Right now I'm just cleaning up.
How have you been?
text
it's got to be done. I admire you for just doing it right away.
Mom's back, thankfully. she and I moved to Heropa; it's not safe in Maurtia Falls any more. they don't like imPorts here, and there's been a lot in the news lately about kids my age disappearing.
text
I'm glad to hear about your mother. Very glad. And you got out of Maurtia Falls, even better.
How many kids have gone missing?
text
I'm glad, too. the day she showed back up I was so happy i could have cried. well i shouldn't say "could have" because i did cry. a lot.
i think 5 or 6 by now? It might be more. knowing they were disappearing at all is what pushed me into going. i realized if someone tried to grab me, if they surprised me or had some way to counter my powers i'd be helpless. not to mention mom would be devastated.

[Most people are saying sorry. He doesn't. It's not out of rudeness, but out of... reflection. He didn't want apologies when Cassian left. He still doesn't.]
I'll help give things away, if you'd like assistance in that.
video;
I would appreciate that. Thank you. I've spoken with Elena already. All that's left is Luke.
