Hypothetically speaking, how old does someone have to be to apply for college, or to take classes at a university? Is there a minimum age, or does it depend on whether or not you understand the material?

Hmm, ok... that's a pretty logical first step, I guess.

I looked into a g.e.d. when I first got here. It didn't seem too hard, as long as you're willing to do the work. I think a lot of universities would want import students.

I'm definitely willing to put the work in, Miss! I'm a very good student!

... That said, I'd rather get into a university because of my work rather than the fact that I got interdimensionally kidnapped, but I guess I'll take whatever points in my favour I can get.

Do you know what you want to study?

I'm not sure! Someone suggested taking the general freshman year courseload, and figuring out a specialization from there. Ideally, maybe something involving forensics and criminology, but I'm not sure if they'd offer that in the first year.

That's a good idea, you can see what interests you the most.

I think they'd offer criminology in the first year. Like an intro course. I'd suggest taking psychology too. The way people think and what motivates them is very linked to crime.

Oh, that's a great idea! Some of the books I've been reading touched on it, but I hadn't thought of studying it as a subject.

It's a fascinating subject. You might even learn something about yourself.

Have you studied it yourself, Miss?

Not formally. I lived with a psychiatrist and he taught me about it. I've done some reading here as well.
