Hypothetically speaking, how old does someone have to be to apply for college, or to take classes at a university? Is there a minimum age, or does it depend on whether or not you understand the material?

I've got that covered, sir! I mean, I would if I had any school transcripts!

You don't have any transcripts? I guess there are tests you can take to cover that bit...

I mean, I couldn't really take the ones from back home with me when I ended up here, and I haven't been to school in a couple years at this point?

Wait, how long have you been here? Because that might come into play too. I can't say for sure, but you'd think it would.

Um... a little over a year, I think? A year and a couple of months? Do you really think that'd make a difference?

You won't know until you ask. Worse case scenario is they'll have you take a few courses at a local school first to establish a record...or something.

I mean, I guess that's not so bad, considering I was thinking about going to school in the first place?

I don't mean for this to sound braggy, but I was a little too advanced for the school I went to back home, that's why I was thinking about university or college.

Exactly. It might help you get used to the schools here too--they might be different from your home, right?

Look, you got the knowledge? Flaunt it. There's no shame in being proud about being smart.

No, but in my experience, it usually results in broken glasses and spending more time inside lockers than classrooms. At least when it comes to other students?

Oh jeez. Kids can be cruel.

I was sort of thinking that might not apply in a university setting?

I mean...You're probably right about that? For the most part. Some people can still be jerks.


College doesn't have lockers to be shoved into though.
