My disciplines? [ Plural. Instinctive, but not stressed, as though she heard him say the "s." ] Well, I started as a nurse, and then some volunteer work... then I was a surgeon. I served as an Army Medic, too, when I wasn't an Officer, but since then I've mostly specialized in obstetrics and pediatrics. Sometimes I like to switch things up--[ She pumps her arms on each of those words, switch things up, twisting her torso in a sort of seated, excited dance. ]--and work with animals instead. Big or small, if it meows, barks, whinnies, squawks, or even trumpets, I've made a house call.
