[A very tired Kang is sitting at a desk littered with calculations-covered papers, charcoal drawings of some sort of device, and textbooks, and holding a steaming cup of coffee.]
Please pardon the mess. I've been very busy as of late, and my next two weeks will somehow be even busier. I picked a very unforgiving block of classes this semester, but it'll be over soon.
[With that, he takes a long drink of his coffee and straightens up, easily shifting into a professional posture and voice.]
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Kang. Along with my job as a civil engineer and attending college, I am also the Director of an organization called the Sentient Life Fund, or SELF. We are a non-profit that works to support the non-human imPort population or some of the non-human pets we are brought with. This world, understandably, isn't designed to accommodate our more unique needs in areas such as health care, housing, and specialized diets. We work with other organizations and businesses to provide these things.
I am pleased to announce that we have added several new businesses to our list of affiliates. Among these are Nelson Legal Offices, owned by our own Foggy Nelson, and O'Malley's Clinic, headed by Iris West. Mayor Petyr Baelish has graciously agreed to cover the fees of anyone who requests the services of a high-end tailor; as of right now, you will need to go through him for contact information. I will make sure to update it as soon as I have it myself.
We've also added a mechanic shop and electronics store for our inorganic imPorts, and a small home renovations business.
If there is any other service that you feel is needed or that we are missing, please contact us so that we can rectify it. We understand that sometimes we are unaware of that which doesn't affect us personally.
