[Sabriel's sitting primly at her desk in Helix Station wearing a suit and tie, her hair neatly brushed. Whatever this is, it's a carefully planned statement, rather than a spur of the moment post. Despite her outwardly calm appearance, she seems to be shaking slightly before she steadies herself.]
Something is strange about Jeopardy. I understand that the town appeared before my arrival, and that only imPorts remember it not existing, but something is wrong in that town.
Nobody that has died there has properly passed on since the town was founded- and while Death is normally not something I can even attempt to reach, I could feel it, reach for it- even hear it there. But when I tried to walk into it, I was blocked- as are all the spirits there. People aren't hallucinating there, they're catching glimpses of the Dead. And as hard as I tried, I couldn't help any of the Dead I found to pass on. [Which is worrying. If they've been in that state for years, it's unlikely they'd suddenly start attacking the living, but the whole thing makes Sabriel uneasy.] I'm not sure if it's some sort of attempt at warding gone wrong, or... something else. I intend to investigate further, and I'd like the aid of any other imPorts with an affinity for Death.
I also have another request, one I've been meaning to make for a few weeks. Magic in my world is not purely an inborn thing. Charter magic can be taught to those who accept baptism into the Charter, and have the dedication and discipline to practice it. Given what we've learned of the threats imPorts face, having more people skilled in binding and healing magic seems prudent. [Especially binding. She'd like to have as many mages as she can who can help with her plan against Atropos.]

Never came across a whole town that doesn't stay dead, though. But if I did I'd be inclined to think of it as a good thing.

[She...uh. May be eyeing that suit, pale woman.]
Your magic's for talking to her?
Re: video
My power is for making sure the Dead pass on properly, rather than simply lingering.

I'm guessing Nico's going to hit you up about the whole "Death" thing. If he hasn't already...
