[It takes Terra a while to investigate his new little communicator device... and then a while longer to remember everything he was told about how to use the thing... but eventually he gets an audio recording going.]
Hm. That definitely did something. [Or he's pretty sure he got an audio recording going, anyway.] Yeah, looks like it's working now. Okay. Uh... Hello?
[There's a brief pause and then he clears his throat and starts again.]
Hello. My name's Terra. I'm new to this area.
[This whole situation is an unimaginably big problem in regards to the keeping of the World Order, and he is probably duty-bound to Do Something About It, but while he figures out exactly what one is supposed to do about a whole world full of people knowing there are other worlds out there, he'll just not contribute to the problem. You will get no acknowledgement that this is another world from him, no sir/ma'am.]
I was wondering if anyone's figured out why they're here? I've read a couple times now that it's just... an accident, some random happening, but I don't buy it. There's gotta be a reason this power has been bringing people to this place. Some purpose or purposes it means for us to serve?
[Another pause. What else was he meaning to ask? Oh, right.]
And does anyone know anything about the games played around here? Sports games, specifically. I was given a job as a sort of coach... [Wait, let him just read the job title off the paper-] An 'Athletics Counselor'. For troubled kids. I'm told I'll get some training for the job, but I'd like to go into it knowing as much as I can... and right now, I really don't know anything. [Ah.] Except that they don't use fruit as balls in any of their games.
[A good thing to know, that.]
That's about it, I guess. Thanks for your time.
[Now to remember how to turn this device off.]
Hope that worked.

[But he's all sorts of distracted now. Star-shaped fruit that grow on an island? That sounds just like... those star-shaped fruit that grew on that island! Could this person be from that small world? What a crazy coincidence that'd be, considering he was just there not too long before the Porter grabbed him.]
... Could you tell me more about the paopu fruit? Why is your island famous for them?
[Tries... to be subtle about this... but mostly just comes off as awkward... Maybe he's a fruit connoisseur, you don't know...]
no subject
Well it's the only place where they grow, and there's this story that if you share a paopu fruit with somebody, your destinies get intertwined and you're destined to stay a part of that person's life forever.
[And in the back of his mind, he's picturing a crude drawing scratched onto a cave wall... his cheeks flush but it's not like anyone can see that over a voice call. Nope nope.]
At least that's how the story goes!

(Give him a second to pull his little charm out of his pocket and look it over.)]
That's... quite a story for a fruit.
[It really is, when you think about it. Now what does he say, though? He's definitely curious if this person might know that young boy he chose for the Keyblade. Hm.]
Do you know a lot of people on your island?
[Just all the random questions.]
no subject
[And you just know that everybody on the islands knows Sora
once they remembered him.]Actually my two best friends from home are here too, Riku and Kairi. It's nice to explore new worlds together this time instead of being apart. What about you, did anybody from your home make it here with you too?
no subject
... Wait. Wait wait wait.]
Riku and Kairi? You must be... [Kairi's other friend. What did she say his name was again?] Sora?
no subject
[Unless...]
Wait, have you met Riku and Kairi already?
no subject
A Keybearer who, just moments ago, mentioned other worlds out loud where everybody could potentially hear him. Sigh. Is the World Order really that much of a lost cause here?
... Oh, right, questions.]
I met Kairi recently. And yes, a friend of mine is here, too. We're both your neighbors.
no subject
[Sora is absolutely 100% serious about this and the excitement is palpable in his voice. Why didn't Kairi say she'd met their neighbours already, he'd have gone over to say hello sooner.]
How long have you guys been here? Oh, and what's your friend called? We could have dinner, what do you like to eat?
no subject
(Or maybe just a love of sugar and/or caffeinated beverages.)]
We've only been here a couple weeks. And my friend's name is Ventus. Our other friend and I usually just call him Ven. I, uh... appreciate the invitation -- and I'm sure Ven would, too -- but I don't think we'll be able to come over for a while. Ven's been through some... really tough stuff lately, and we're kind of taking it easy for now. Giving him time to recover.
[Also, giving himself time to try and figure out what exactly he's supposed to do about his friend having lost his heart and memories.]
no subject
Wait.
Aqua... Ven...
The bottom kind of drops out from Sora's stomach and he gets a really, really bad feeling, and it's a feeling that's totally at odds with the impression he's getting of this guy through speaking to him because if this is the Terra who he thinks this might be... then this is the guy who attacked Riku and fought him in a creepy canyon but who was really nice to Kairi.]
It's no problem. Really. When he's feeling better, you should both come over. I figure there's a lot we have in common.
[...oh but how to go about this next part.]
Say, this might sound kinda odd, but do you remember fighting three guys in a really barren desert kind of canyon place? One of them was a duck, the other was a dog and the other guy fought with a Keyblade and he looked like- well he was me so I guess he looked like this:
[HELLO SURPRISE VIDEO]
Do you- remember anything like that?
