Heeeeeeeey, guys! It's that time of year again~!

[ Adachi's... well, he's not drunk, but he's definitely had a few by now. The fact that he's got a mostly empty beer bottle in hand is probably a testiment to how drunk he intends to get himself tonight. ]

It's my birthday~! M'drinkin' at home this time around, but I got plenty of booze for anyone that wants to show up.

[ There's GPS coordinates tacked on to the post, if anyone actually wants to join him. ]

[And it isn't long before Grievous turns up, but he's now in his human form. He knocks upon the door.]

[ When Adachi comes to the door, he's a little wibble-wobbly, with a big dumb grin on his face. He throws his hands up, wrapping them around Grievous in a big ole hug. ]

C'mon in, big guy!

[He's never been one for hugs and so merely tenses up when Adachi grabs him, but to his credit he doesn't pull away.]

So it is your birthday...

Yup!

[ Adachi patted him on the back hard, before grabbing his arm and dragging him inside. ]

[Once they were inside, he fishes around in a pocket and brings out a small packet of slim candles wrapped in clear plastic and labelled as 'birthday candles'. They're ones meant to be on a cake but Grievous is unfamiliar with the concept and so just assumed they were for birthday presents in general when he had picked them up along the way here.]

I'm sure they'll look great on one of the cakes?

[ He wasn't drunk enough to explain this, so he just shook his head, grabbing Grievous' arm and dragging him upstairs. ]

[He's confused by that, not used to these traditions. He goes with Adachi without protest.]

Yup! Big ass chocolate cake.

[ He paused a moment, a bit of a lopsided grin on his face. ]

Sorry, it's not Mars bar flavored.

[ He probably deserves a smack for that, but worth it. ]

[ Adachi let out a drunken giggle. ]

It's a thing where you get a year older and after about ten years or so, it starts to suck for your joints.

No wonder you're resorting to alcohol.

[ The feed swings back to Iris, as she takes a moment to steady the camera and wave right into it, ]

Don't forget to tell them about the cake! [ she giggles as she leans back into what appears to be Adachi's chest, her cheeks equally flushed - ] That's the most important part!

...wait, there's still cake left?

[ He swore they ate it all already... ]

I got two whole cakes, silly. [ another giggle - yep, she's been hitting the beer too, ] One for us, and then one for us later, 'cause birthdays only come around once.

[ . . . That, and she has a sweet tooth that could rival almost anyone. ]

[ Adachi, don't eyebrow waggle at your girlfriend like that. ]

Hey! [ she lightly elbows him, just 'cause, ] You know exactly what I mean, and if you don't.... well, then I guess that cake's meant just for me.

Noooo, I can't let you have all the cake.

[ He'll steal a kiss, like the cake is trying to steal her away or something. ]

[ she laughs into that kiss, reaching for the nape of his neck before -

wait. No, they're on camera. ]

Hang on, babe. [ she finagles with the feed, switching it off before she readjusts herself. ] Much better.

[ Hi, Iris, this is the face of a slightly drunk man who is very happy at his girlfriend right now. ]

Much, much better.

[ Yes, thank you, he'll be taking that kiss now. ]

Good. [ she laughs again, resting her head on his shoulders, ] Some moments aren't meant to be shared with the entire world, you big dummy.

Mm... good. 'Cause I don't wanna share you like that.

[ He nuzzled against the top of her head, holding her close. ]

Mm, but you gotta eventually... seeing as you invited practically the entire imPort community...

[ she leans into him, humming a little - ]

We gotta hide the cake from 'em.

[ Adachi let out a snort, pulling her a little closer so she was practically on his lap. ]

Nah, I don't think we got anything to worry about. Most of the people that used to answer these ported out.

[ He grinned. ]

It might even just be us.

[ on one hand, she doesn't mind privacy. Low-key celebrations are the best kind. On the other hand, that sounds awfully lonely... ]

Still. [ she pouted, ] If you wanted a bigger party, I could've made it happen.

Nah, I like small parties better.

[ He shrugged. ]

I've just done this every year since I've been here.

Yeah? [ she glances up at him, her curiosity piqued. ] I get that. It's nice. Having just a close group of people and chilling out together...

[ He smiled lazily down at her, a warm feeling settling in his chest. ]

Or maybe just one person is just perfect.

[ Iris can't even find it in herself to be mad because god, he's so romantic. She'd be a fool to not revel in it. ]

I guess you're right, babe. This kind of party's perfect.

[ and if he'll let her, she leans up to steal another quick kiss! ]
