[Video] Greetings
[After taking a little bit of time to settle in and read the pamphlet, Adora's starting to feel a little bit better about this rather jarring situation. It is a lot to take in, and a lot of what was said in the information was definitely not easy to understand, but she was pretty good at absorbing information and had picked out the most important bits. Namely that Etheria was fine without her for the moment, and that she might have been called on to help this 'earth' or something? What came next was a logical, if nerve-wracking first step: greeting the people here.
So, it's with a hint of trepidation and a bit of a sheepish smile that a young woman in a red jacket appears on the network.]
Uh...hey. I am one of the new imPorts to the city, and I thought that introducing myself would be the best first step. My name's Adora, and I come from a planet called Etheria. It's...pretty different from this place, that's for sure.
[Shaking her head, like she's just realizing something, Adora lets out a deep breath to try and stop the jitters she's got.]
I'm living in a place called Heropa, house number 6? It looks lived in but I haven't seen anyone else here yet, but maybe I just arrived at a time when nobody else was home. If you live here, let me know?
And speaking of living here, can anyone tell me more about Heropa? Places to go eat, things to see, that sort of stuff? I've never been to a place with this many streets before, and I'd like to know what people who've been living her a while think.
[She stops for a second, smiles awkwardly, and then waves.]
I think that's all for now. Bye!

Action for Catra [Closed]

She has her favorite spots, though, and the parks in Heropa happen to be high on that list. It's where she often goes when the clammy cold of the other porter cities threatens to seep into her bones.
So today, too, she is taking a nice walk in the park, as you do when you have copious amounts of unstructured free time stretching ahead of you. It's a routine by now. One that is interspersed with the occasional unexpected occurrence, sure, but Catra is nonetheless surprised when ahead of her, she sees an all-too-familiar figure. The rigid posture, the ponytail, even the uniform is unmistakeable even with its insignia removed: there's no doubt that this is Adora.
From one moment to the next, it's as if the world falls away around Catra, leaving only the image of the girl in front of her. It's odd, seeing her now. Honestly, it's been a minute since Catra had thought of her and reacted with hate. Oh, every now and then she'll be reminded, but the feeling is blunter now, simmering instead of boiling. Catra is stiff, immovable for a moment, as if the muscle memory that had always guided her actions around Adora had faded in her time here.
She's unguarded, weak -- and that thought is enough to spur her into action. Her brows furrow, and then she makes a dash for the nearest tree. When she first got here, moving around trees was unfamiliar to her, and she'd often come away with small scratches in her skin; now, though, she's become somewhat acquainted to greenery.
She weaves through the foliage as quietly as she can until she's a little ahead of Adora, then lets herself slide down the trunk of the tree she's in. Finally, a practiced smirk slides into place like a worn glove and she steps out from behind the tree, sauntering into Adora's plain view. ]
Hey, Adora.

If you like beaches, you've been assigned to the right city. Heropa's a great place to go swimming or just enjoy the sun.

[Those are familiar things, definitely. It wasn't the most positive association she could have with her new place, but it wasn't a bad place to start.]
Totally great. Only, this might sound stupid, but are they really quiet?

I always like the beach and the boardwalk--it's a lovely view. There are also some beautiful parks, and some very nice neighborhoods for eating and shopping. Thanks to the number of world travelers we have a lot of cuisine.

[as with Tina, she waves back, smile not wavering even if it is a touch unsteady.]
What's...a boardwalk, exactly? I don't think I've heard of those before. Is it anything like a balance beam?

[ Have another blonde, this one with green eyes and a much more confident smile. Rapunzel has had enough time to sort of get her bearings here at last, though there's still a ton that she's learning every day. Her tone is genuinely welcoming, though, so there's that. Having just been in Adora's shoes a few months ago, she wants to help. Besides, that's what heroes do, right? The right thing? The good thing? ]
I'm not too familiar with Heropa yet. I was assigned to De Chima, but if you're ever looking for someone to go exploring with, I'd be happy to volunteer.

[Adora's smile brightens up a little bit? Because she's a confidence sponge, and seeing that smile means she's done something right. Maybe it's her imagination, too but the long blonde hair and green eyes remind her very much of Perfuma. And that is a great, comforting connection.]
I'd...definitely like that? We can figure it out together, and see some of the things other people have told me about. It seems like a nice town, for sure.
Just saw your message on plurk earlier, totally fine if you'd rather move on from this

I did! Etheria. What about you, are you from a different Earth?

so this had to happen]It's a pleasure to meet you, Adora, and welcome to the Heropa neighborhood! I'm Allura, princess of the planet Altea.
I only moved here a few months back, but it's a lovely place to be living. Especially at this time of year! It's at least a bit warm, still, while locations further north are freezing cold!
no subject
!]Ah! Hello, Princess Allura.
[She doesn't know much about other planets, but if Allura is the princess of a whole planet then she should be extra polite, right? It's either really small, or she's really powerful.]
I am definitely getting the feeling this...Florida? is really warm all the time. The climate's a bit like Bright Moon, where I live. So that's a big positive.
Is Altea like this place?

[She gives a bit of a smile, not nervous, just a little tired.]
I don't know much about Heropa, but I wanted to say 'hi' because you look like you might be around my age? Uh, don't let my scrawniness fool you, I'm sixteen.
no subject
[Adora returns the smile...a little more confident than in the initial video.]
I'm seventeen? So, yeah, we are about the same age.

Hello Marceline.
When you say cuckoo nuts, how do you mean? It seems pretty normal, except for the crazy machines.
