So I watched this thing online. It was about a button. If you pressed the button, you would immediately get a million yen (which is like, around 10,000 US dollars, if you dunno how yen works), but the second you pressed the button, your mind. Like...your consciousness would be teleported into this like. Alternate dimension thing. You can't sleep and you can't die and you can't leave and you have to spend 500 million years there. And then when the 500 million years is up, you go back into your body and you forget everything that just happened. So like. You would think you just pressed the button and immediately got the money.

Anyway, I watched it and I started thinking and my head wound up on "What if that's how the Porters work. What if we're spending millions and millions of years between dimensions and we just forget it when we get to where we're going."

And now I can't stop thinking about that. And it's freaking me out, just a little bit.

I like skateboarding. And baseball.

Because the odds of my getting mowed down are astronomically low.

But seriously, I wouldn't get too worked up about it. If you don't remember it, and there is no time or signs that you lived it, do those millions of years even matter?

I mean, you still gotta experience them. That's like, a crazy amount of time to be alone! And you can't even sleep! If I could sleep I could probably do it though, I can sleep for forever if I really want to. What would you even do with all that time.

...I guess you could get really, really fit.
