[It's a beautiful day in Heropa and Kang's enjoying it by sitting outside on the deck of his house, basking contentedly in the sun.]
Most imPorts seem to come from worlds that have technology comparable to this one, or more advanced. Some of us don't, and have decades, or even centuries, to catch up on. After five years, I've gotten used to the technology and even understand how a great deal of it works, but there are still moments when I'm amazed that such things can ever be possible.
That makes me wonder. For those of you from less advanced worlds, what technology here are you most amazed by? And if you were able, what one piece would you take home with you?
[He settles a little further into his chair and smiles.]
For me, it is space flight. Being able to leave the planet at all is something that very few on Krynn ever imagined, and actually being capable of doing so with machines rather than magic or the power of a god... but, I wouldn't take anything near that complex home. I'd take a simple printing press. People underestimate how valuable knowledge can be, especially when books are so easily accessible. For a time, my nation profited from sharing information that no one else on Krynn could acquire. Printing presses would change the course of history there just as they did here.

Uh, for me, I guess it'd have to be the medical technology they've got here...though cell phones would be a close second. [He sounds disappointed that he has to choose the option without cat pictures and emojis.] We had these big bulky things that you could SOMETIMES use to make calls, but they didn't have apps or cameras or anything.

[Abigail can't help a bit of shock showing on her face. The nanites let her feel a bit safer in this world. It seems so unfair for anyone to be brought here without the chance to come back when they die.]
That's messed up. Is it because you're not human?

[...during highway robberies during a part of his life that he's not proud of.]
And I walk everywhere here, too. I don't really know how to drive a car. It's more the idea that I could get on a bus or in a car and go that fast.
