So, I was thinking maybe some of us could get together this weekend? I dunno what all of you like to do for fun, but I'm not terribly picky so long as I don't have to deal with big...crowds. Would anyone be interested and, if so, does anyone have any ideas for what might be fun to do as a group?

If this world is anything like my own, you'd need to find an international foods store. However, I'm not sure how importation of goods from other countries even functions here.

I haven't gone searching yet, and I'm not specifically in Jeopardy. Have you tried an online search centered on your area?

No, I meant wherever you are. I haven't seen anything in Jeopardy doing that, so I'm thinking I'll have to go elsewhere. I suppose I could order online but that would probably require me to have a credit card.

I charge $500/hr. minimum. It didn't take long. It depends on what you mean by 'decent income' given that the stipend covers our necessities.

Why don't you ask the universities if they need help? Fish nerds and all that.

Have they got marine biology courses at the universities out by you? I don't think they have out here. It wouldn't make much sense to study in a landlocked state. That's not a bad idea. I was thinking more letting people pay to have a mermaid take them swimming with dolphins, but your idea's less seasonal, actually...

Hi. I'm Lacey. A girls' night sounds really fun! There's so much we could do. We could have a spa night or play cards or board games or have a wine and cheese night. Or have a cooking night, we could each bring our favorite recipe and teach them to each other. Or we could talk about our favourite books, maybe exchange books.

Nice to sort of meet you, Lacey. I dunno how a spa night would work, I don't think I've ever done one of those. D'you mean actually the lot of us going to a spa or something more makeshift at someone's house? A game night with wine and cheese sounds brilliant, though. My friends back home and I would have a giant sleepover on my friend Emma's birthday every year with all the girls at school and just eat and gossip and watch movies and whatnot. Some of the girls would do each other's hair and makeup but that was never really my thing, personally.

( She says that like she attended more than two of these things, but nobody needs to know how late she joined the game, so to speak. )

Yeah, I didn't find any here in Jeopardy, so I was sort of hoping someone in another city might've seen it around in theirs so I could pop over for it. I figured it was worth asking.

I was thinking of a spa night at someone's house with mani-pedis, facials, eyebrows.  We could light scented candles and have healthy snacks. The kind of thing that would leave us feeling really good. But if it's not for you, it's not for you.  We can find something everyone will like. Game nights are wonderful.  We had them all the time back home, cards, scrabble, charades, trivial pursuit, al kinds of games.  Movies night are fun too!  We could each bring our favourite movie, make popcorn, have candy.   We could get one of those big outdoor screens and make it a backyard party.  Or indoor.  We could make drinking games around the movies too. 

[As long as she wouldn't have to watch First Blood or The Delta Force again]

I'm in Jeopardy too, so I can't help.  Maybe try online if you don't have luck in the other cities?

Yeah I dunno if that's my sort of thing, but I like the movie and game night ideas. We'd just have to find somewhere to actually have it, yeah? I've got several flatmates, so I dunno if we could do it here. I could ask them, I suppose. I've never done that sort of thing outdoors though. I like that idea, quite a lot, actually...

Oh, brilliant! I cannot carry a tune in a bucket, but I used to love watching my friend Bella sing. I could be persuaded to go round somewhere for karaoke, so long as no one drags me up on stage. It's better for the whole lot if I just watch.
