I'm sure that... there are a lot of people like myself - who haven't been here for terribly long - who perhaps don't understand the significance of what may be happening now. What we've been warned about. [Since the strange message, that is.]

Thanks to a very helpful young man, a while ago I came into the possession of some very detailed note-taking on the past of this place, and the porter, and... well. I'm sure I'll miss something here or there, but...

[She manages what looks like a nervous, slightly forced smile.]

I'd like to help. Atropos, the OTO, all of it... I might have barely known a thing without these notes, and I very much doubt I'm the only one. So. [Jane clasps her hands under her chin, the phone propped up against something.]

Does anyone have any questions... that perhaps I could help them find an answer to?

What is going on with the Fates?

And it would appear that the Fates are possibly going to return. One of them, in the very least.

I mean I know Atropos is a problem and people keep telling me Clotho is dead but... I never believed it.

Of course the Fates finally show themselves while I'm gone. [ He grumbles. ] Do we know which one?

[She doesn't mince it for him, because he'll find out eventually one way or another and she'd really rather he find out from her than by accident.]

There was another world before this one. One with porters. Before it was destroyed by a being called 'Atropos'. [Jane presses her lips together for a moment.]

Atropos has two sisters. Lachesis and Clotho. There's nothing in the notes to say how they might be summoned... but perhaps that cryptic code we were so focused upon not long ago is a clue.

[ He listens quietly, attentive as he always is. While he doesn't visibly react to it, there's something about the concept of a destroyed world that rings an unpleasant bell.

Are they gonna stop her? I mean, even if we figure out the code, how do we know they will?

I believe that is the name 'Atropos'. Assuming this is the same being as I've read about, Atropos is... a destroyer of worlds. Amongst other things.
