Thanks. It's okay. If it makes you feel better, now that I'm here the whole thing doesn't really feel quite as real as it did at the time.

Was it you? An artificial life supported with manufactured memories of things that don't exist and didn't really happen. I'm not disparging your free will, but I'd hardly consider anyone in that scenario to be in reasonable "control" of what they chose to do.

Well, yeah, but...I don't know. I mean, it's what I would have done if I had had all of those experiences...but then, our experiences make us who we are, so I don't really know.

[There's really no denying it. Jonathan was locked up for months and came out heavily mutilated. Kurt..wasn't and didn't.]

Yeah. Neither do I. I'm a little uneasy knowing the government could brainwash me if they decided to do so.

It was. It was...pretty terrible, but I'm fine. There's something about it that just doesn't feel as real now that I'm not in that world.
