I am putting on a spectacular live event that will also be filmed and edited into a short film.

A show. A play, of sorts.

The amazing hero defeats the nefarious villain with style and lasers. That sort of thing!

Who's the bad guy?

An impressively horned gentleman. He very much looks the part.

Does he have a good villain laugh?

No. He literally has huge horns. Like a devil. No extra special effects required.

I haven't yet tested his laugh.

You gotta. A villain needs a good monologue and a good laugh. Trust me, I'd know.

I don't know if I want him to have many lines.

I'm not showcasing the villain.

So what kind of action set-piece would you prefer?

You gotta have your bad guy really show off he's dangerous so it's cooler when you beat him. Like he has to almost beat you first. And make fun of you.

You know this is only a short performance. A demonstration, if you will... Maybe if I turn it into a feature at a later date we can deal with character development.
