[A pensive Anita is sitting on the side of her bed, with a large frog plushie on one side and a frog-shaped pillow on her lap. She rests her elbows on said pillow, and rests her chin on her hands.]

Okay. I've been here for two months, and I don't think there's anyone who came from the same place as me around here. [It's probably a good thing because she kind of caused trouble back home, but the trade-off is that she doesn't have Nenene or her sisters with her.]

[She reaches out off-screen to get a bottle of milk from the top of her bedside table, and drains half of it in one go. Anita doesn't seem to know or care that she is now addressing everyone with a milk mustache.] 

Anyway, I just wanna ask - how many of you are here with friends from home? Or enemies? Or...well, anyone who came from the world you know? I'm wondering if this world plays favorites with all the other worlds and universes out there.

...Oh, and I got a job with the police department. I'm a Junior Assistant Detective now, so my stationery-designing days are over. [Say hello to your tiny colleague, law enforcement folk. It's not as thrilling as being a bodyguard, but she'll take it if it puts food on the table.]

That's less than who I know. 'Cause I know my sisters, and Nenene said her missing friend is also a Paper Master. Then there's this really creepy, really evil Paper Master.

How strange. It seems like this place can't come to a consensus on whether to bring in people who are used to this superpower act or not.

You'd think there's a pattern, but no. That worries me a bit.

It worries me a lot. I don't want to think that the Porter's pulling people at random.

Y'know, that just might be it. I'm more worried about it pulling people I don't want thrown into the kind of trouble we sometimes get into.

voice;

[brushoff]

That makes two of us. People who don't know how to deal with these sorts of things shouldn't be here.

Yeah! Actually none of us should have any business being here, but at least leave those people out!

voice;

[brushoff]

If only that would happen. It seems like the Porter's more random than picking and choosing--which is a terrible method.

[acrobrat]

You said it. It's not only terrible, but really stupid.

voice;

[brushoff]

The government really needs to get its act together. This is just embarrassing.

I hope they learned their lesson after that whole summer camp thing.

[brushoff]

Somehow I doubt that.

[acrobrat]

I wonder how much it's gonna take for them to learn, then.

I hate to say this, but they probably won't learn until after a catastrophe.

You don't think the camp was a catastrophe?

...point taken.

It could have been a lot worse, though.

...that's true. But they shouldn't wait for "a lot worse" to happen.

As the saying goes, should've could've would've. They shouldn't wait for a lot worse but I have a feeling that's what they'll do.

Then they're stupid and lazy.

Isn't that true of all government?

Heh, you're right. Some things never change.

Or, in our case, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Yeah. For example, we're both still here even after a lot of people got ported out.

I wonder how long we'll be stuck in this place.
