[ Pidge’s shoulders and face take up the majority of the feed as she addresses the network. As she speaks sparkles of multicolored lights appear to almost shine from her skin, throwing light and colors everywhere. ]

Hey, so I had been worried that this [ She gestures to her face ] was localized only to my house but I see it’s just more typical bullshit for this world. That said, before it inevitably blows up in our face we should get some entertainment from this whole thing.

So for your enjoyment, [ She smiles and there's an obviously devious tilt to it ] I present Shiro the Amazing Rainbow Dragon! [ Her arm sweeps out and she turns to the side, showing the rest of her house to the camera and revealing the dragon that stands in the middle of her living room.

The dragon raises his angular head and sighs. He takes up a good portion of the living room and has to bend down to look into the comm. He has his own comm device held very carefully between his long sharp claws.] At least all of this seems harmless.

[He spreads his feathered wings and rainbow is an apt word. His scales keep changing colors and his feathers take on the opposite color. It’s like being in the middle of a really festive party.] Except for anyone who really hates eye searing colors. Exactly how many different things are happening right now? Just curious.

[Shiro snaps his wings shut. It somewhat mutes the rainbow dance party effect he’s giving off.

Pidge’s voice comes from off screen as she yells,]

Oh shit, Shiro! Shiro! Look at Green!

[He lifts his head out of view of the screen and calls out,]

What's happening now? [In the background the black metal winged lion turns into a real winged lion. Shiro doesn't notice and the screen is graced with one large dragon foot.

In person, he stares at what was the Green Lion. Was.]

...You know, I think I asked for this when I said 'just curious'.

[ Pidge was just blinking at the flesh and blood green lioness that was staring at itself in a mirror. Green sniffed at the mirror a couple times and a look of confusion crossed her face right before she sneezed once, twice, thrice. ]

Yup. Pretty sure this is our fault for relaxing. I... am I going to have to find an antelope or something for her? [ DO NOT WANT ]

[Action]

Or a cow. [Thank you Archie for that thought that usually comes up off and on while he's a dragon. It's been such a comfort when he flies over farms.]

I'm sure we can put in a call to a zoo for advice if it comes to that. And I should probably be in human form for that. [He's bracing himself for something weirder to happen to him whenever he shifts back.]

[ On one hand feeding Green an antelope would make a hilarious story, on the other: gross.

Shiro's question pulls her attention away though and she focuses on him. ]

Rainbow colored you would be great. Do you think your hair will turn different colors based on where it used to be white and black?

[VOICE] | Open to both!

[Also, Darin's voice sounds about half an octave deeper.]

And here I was worried what happened was only contained to my forge.

[He shifts around as he keeps just turning colors like rapidly blinking Christmas lights do.] And are you alright?

I'm going to assume that's why you're sticking to voice. [That doesn't answer anything. He looks towards the Black Lion and sighs. Well. That's happening.] ...and what exactly happened? It's been a while since something was this wide spread.

[He scratches under his chin and his claws start turning colors too.]

[He blinks and leans back down to look into the screen.] Yes. Hello there,

[He raises his front foot slightly.] I'm usually a person but we're testing something out and I needed to be in this shape.

[It's ok Shiro he knows how he looks. He's been through this once.]

I remember you told me you could do this a while back. Interesting to see it. I'm guessing the colors are what's affecting you now?

[Oh good, not kid minded. Shiro breathes a sigh of relief.] That's right.

It was just my scales at first. Then it spread to my wings. I'm waiting for it to spread to my horns. I don't want to think about if it carries over.

[That will be something. He might have to sleep on the couch tonight.]

[Keith is only squinting a little at the colorful bright display.]

Wow... that's... Something.

[Sorry, that's what he has for that.]

Are you guys taking this on the road? Maybe a soundtrack...

Keith. [There's a world of relief in his tone as he taps his claws against the screen.]

No, Green is just a lion now. Black was too but returned to normal. You're not experiencing any effects are you?

[A pause and because he knows how this place works by now he adds,] Not yet anyway.

[But now he wants to go check Kosmo to make sure the wolf is still a wolf and not a wind up toy or something.]

So you're both good... aside from the human-dragon-rainbow thing?

Keith! Keith you have to see this!

[ The comm's picked up and Keith gets a beautiful view of Pidge's hand and the ceiling before the picture rights itself to show an actual green lion. ]

She's flesh and blood Keith. [ The lion sniffs at her own leg and gives it a few licks before jerking her head back. ]

She's so confused.

[Between the colors and the sudden view changes, probably good Keith is a space pilot or he'd be fighting nausea. But it's good. They're good and.]

I don't blame her. I'm confused.

[But aww, look at her. Keith is a not so secret sucker for animals.] She's cute though.

Well, that's fun.

[Futaba, normally a human girl, seems to have taken on some more...robotic qualities. Her eyes glow, an eerie blue light emanating from her face out into the darkened room she's filming in. Her voice has a tin-ish quality to it as well, mechanical.]

Do you just glow, or is there more?

...Yes. I can't shift back all the way. [Shiro by now is back in humaniod shape but he's larger than usual. The grey-white scales pattern over his skin and his clawed fingers make typing a hassle.]

It's like dragon and human can't fully separate anymore. [He shakes his head, frowning at the weight of his horns on either side of his face.] The dragon senses are still there. It's weird.

Mm. I'm having a similar problem.

[Yeah, that eerie blue glow? Even eerier when tentacles come up over her shoulders, just as mechanical as anything else with their metallic sheen and green lights running up and down their length.]

Except...I never was this. We just aren't separate entities anymore.

I think it's less glowing and more reflecting? But I haven't had a chance to experiment with it. That said this is the only thing that happened to me, but my lion is suddenly flesh and blood instead of robotic so that's an entire mess.

Boring. [But it's all in good fun, if her grin is anything to go by. Considering this reply comes in after Shiro's, the mechanical tentacles that joined in from the background in their conversation are writhing in this video too--almost like they're curious.]

Wait--the lion used to be robotic?

Yeah, but that's pretty normal for him here.
