video;
[The camera is at a strange angle - the shelves up behind Jane are far too large, and the window is too high.]
I-- Oh, this is dreadfully embarrassing.
[She looks as if she would much rather be anywhere else.]
But I was working late last night and... I appear to be stuck in the stock room. [She pulls a face and adds, in a chagrined mutter.] ... I can't reach the door handle.
[Jane sighs heavily.]
Mr Akros is away on holiday. Would someone please come and let me out and tell me what's going on?

[Not a child, no, but... definitely too short to reach the door. Honestly she'd rather have been a child. This just feels strange.]
action
...oh. That's what's going on.] I thought this latest weird thingw as just turning people into kids.

[She's been a bit of a gawky kid but she could have tolerated it far better than this. Jane is puffed up with annoyance, but visibly loses steam within a few seconds of the door opening.]
I think I would have greatly preferred it.
Video
[ That is not the voice of an 11 year old, but it is definitely a voice Jane has heard before. ]
What happened to you?
no subject
[Oh, she has heard that voice before, but it takes her a moment to place it.]
And it sounds like you've grown up, Adam.
no subject
He doesn't sound massively bothered. It's not the worst that's happened, and he at least retained an idea of who, where and when he is. Wasn't so lucky last time. ]
Dog's a cat. [ He adds casually. ]
no subject
[Ah. She might be stifling the urge to laugh.]
I imagine he's thrilled...
no subject
I think he's coming around to it.
no subject
Oh, dear... Yes, he definitely looks as if he is.
[He definitely doesn't look like he is.]
I may have to ask you to cook dinner tonight, Adam.
no subject
Adam changes the feed back to himself. ]
Me? I don't know how to cook.
no subject
[She can show you how to cook vegetables.]
What do you feel like having?
no subject
Can we have breakfast for dinner?
no subject
[And pancakes are a breakfast food, supposedly...]
no subject
Okay, pancakes then.

[Kirk's voice sounds... off. A little higher-pitched than usual, with just a slight whisper-squeal added to some of his words. This is because, he is currently a Man-Bat, and he would really rather crawl into a hole and die, but needs must.]
no subject
[He sounds... strange. She has to double check who's calling.]
Are you alright, Kirk?
no subject
Story of my life, really.
no subject
[Hmm. Maybe she'll pry a little.]
You sound different.
no subject
[And he doesn't want to talk about it.]
no subject
[No, no, she can take a hint.]
Me too. This is terribly inconvenient.
no subject
[To say the least.]
You might want to think about avoiding closing doors for a while.
no subject
Are you trying to be funny?
[It might be a little funny.]
no subject
Otherwise I was completely serious.
no subject
[Spoken with clear fondness. She has a definite soft spot for Kirk.]
But you do have a point. I barely remember the last time I couldn't open a door for myself.
