Apollo is broadcasting from roughly half a mile above Nonah - still his favourite city, even after 18 months - with the high altitude wind in his hair and the familiar golden halo of sunlight enshrining his (unusually) solemn features. ]

Hey, everyone. Just wanted to let any new arrivals know that you don't have to be Registered to be a hero. You've just --

[ He patiently pauses to let an airplane pass noisily overhead -- it takes about twenty seconds, with Apollo only emitting the faintest of grimaces as his hair streams briefly over his face, swept up in the wake of the plane less than 200 yards overhead - before he resumes: ]

You've just got to be okay with the idea of getting arrested over it if you're caught. [ IF you get caught, ahem. ] There's been a lot of people going home lately but Impact is still active - we're not a team per se, we don't have funding or a fancy headquarters. We're just a group of Unsettled heroes who keep an eye on each other when we're at work and occasionally go for drinks.

Yeah? We have a few demons back in my world too. Well - they're aliens, technically, but 'demon knights' is a catchy title.

What about you? Do you believe in 'survival of the fittest' too?

Yeah, the Demon Lords from my world aren't demons. It's just a title. [ are there actual Demons and Devil,s he wonders? Rimuru doesn't know for sure ]

And no. I think peace is something to aim for and that sort of mentality won't help to achieve that. Cooperation and mutual support should be the main goal to live a peaceful and good life. [ the slime is a dreamer! ]

Agreed. A peaceful and good life is absolutely the goal. But the world isn't going to get there without some of us getting our hands dirty.

I know that. It's hard to explain it to monsters and humans alike when all they ever did was fight each other, so there will always be times when stepping in is necessary. I have done that myself.

But I will avoid it if I can.

Sure. If there's a way to get there without violence then that's a good thing.
