Much has changed over the years, as some of you have seen for yourselves. Many have come and gone. Many have returned remembering this world, while others have returned remembering and knowing nothing.

Next month will mark the third year in which I have taken up residence here. I wouldn't call myself stuck, not particularly, though I know there might be some who would disagree.

So then here is a question for everyone: how long have you been residing here? What have you done or accomplished during your stay? What will you do next?

For me, I believe it is time to obtain some form of official license with piloting. Among other things.

I'm sure that's a comfort in some way. You have quite the handful of furry companions, that's good. You aren't entirely alone. I don't think I've heard of that instrument, though there is still much to learn even three years later for me.

Psychology? Interesting. Any particular reason why?

Yeah, they're great companions.  I couldn't imagine being here without them. A harpsichord is like a piano. The keys are thinner on a harpsichord. And when I play, the strings inside are plucked instead of struck.

I used to want to work for the FBI back home.  I thought I'd help stop people from being hurt.  Now, I want to stick with my music.  But I'd still like to know why certain people in my past were the way they were.

Do they all get along? I've heard that cats and dogs have a hard time with that. And I see. That sounds like an interesting instrument.

FBI? Were these people close to you? Did they hurt you or others?

[ Surely that must be why they would want to help people from being hurt. ]

They do.  They grew up around each other, so they're used to each other.  Old dogs that have never lived with a cat might not like them and vice versa. 

Yes, my dad hurt a lot of people.  At the end, he killed my mom and tried to kill me.

That's good then. It sounds like you're set with your furry companionship.

[ Well. That's a bit of a shock, reading the message as it comes in. ]

In some ways, I can relate to almost all of that. Still, I am deeply sorry for your loss. No matter how fresh or however long ago it was.

Thank you. I'm sorry for  whatever happened with you too. 

At least we get a second chance here for things to be better.  I never thought I'd have that back home.

I appreciate that, truly.

In some way, yes we do. No?

Back home, people would judge me for what my father did.  Here, it's closer to being fair.  Some people might judge us for being imports, but I can live with that.

For me, back home, it's still unknown who my real parents are. But they're both here, currently. Perhaps the Porter will bring your father to you?

I worry about that a lot. I hope it won't. So far, I've been lucky and he hasn't been here.
