Much has changed over the years, as some of you have seen for yourselves. Many have come and gone. Many have returned remembering this world, while others have returned remembering and knowing nothing.

Next month will mark the third year in which I have taken up residence here. I wouldn't call myself stuck, not particularly, though I know there might be some who would disagree.

So then here is a question for everyone: how long have you been residing here? What have you done or accomplished during your stay? What will you do next?

For me, I believe it is time to obtain some form of official license with piloting. Among other things.

Because I've been here for 4 years, 8 months, and 3 days. I know how often people come back, and when they do, how often they actually remember being here.

It's easier to assume they aren't coming back.

Ah, so you yourself have never left? And you're right, that is the easier way of thinking.

I'm not allowed near those "guess how many are in the jar" games.

Never said I haven't gone home. The odds of coming back like you and me, from the same universe and with all memories intact, just aren't in people's favors.

That's too bad. Sometimes those games can be fun. For the right people.

I suppose you're right. And when it occurs one too many times, it can become tiresome. And disappointing.

Yeah, shockingly people don't find it fun when someone can take a glance at it and get it exact every time.

Exactly. It's better to brace for the worst and be pleasantly surprised.

Ah, yes. Then no, that wouldn't be fun.

Brace for the worst, expect to be disappointed. Though I admit, that's not how I work back home.

And how do you work back home?

Hope for the best. I always have hope.

It might sound silly to some, but...

Yes and no. I'm far too cynical, but my exes have never been. Hope is a powerful tool.

It most certainly is. Hope is and has always been the driving force behind our victories.

And who is "we" in this case?
