{ 010 } ♔ TEXT

Much has changed over the years, as some of you have seen for yourselves. Many have come and gone. Many have returned remembering this world, while others have returned remembering and knowing nothing.

Next month will mark the third year in which I have taken up residence here. I wouldn't call myself stuck, not particularly, though I know there might be some who would disagree.

So then here is a question for everyone: how long have you been residing here? What have you done or accomplished during your stay? What will you do next?

For me, I believe it is time to obtain some form of official license with piloting. Among other things.

Well. I took him to a hospital. Then we found out he came through the Einstein-Rosen bridge, so I had to find him again to ask questions. Then I ran into him. Accidentally. He was fine.

Well, a lot of collaboration from people who have worked on such projects before and some of the other minds here, like Knock Out, Tony, and Tadashi. They've all been a real help, but we still have some laws of the universe to get around first.

Oh, the technical term for 'wormhole' in my world. I'm not sure what you would call it?

[She'll have to remember that not everyone would know that ...]

Yeah. They're great. I know they'd have my back at a moment's notice, even if it wasn't science related.

Hmm. Well, I can always describe what it is in detail and then you can match that for what you might have in your world!

Exactly. I wouldn't trade them for the world.

Sure! I'll send it over in an email, in case what I write out is a bit too long for a text message.

[Jane quickly types out an email describing that a black hole is the result of gravitational forces overcoming anything else, usually when something with a large amount of mass collapses. A star dying, for example. They interact with the rest of the universe, but due to light not even escaping its pull, it could only be observed directly, and the physics surrounding it is much different than what one experiences on a planet.]

Only one, but we didn't meet before coming here. Which is a shame.

Great!

[Jane is so happy to hear that!]

Kind of like how many other people don't meet. Different parts of the world, different social spheres, that kind of stuff. But I'm glad we've met now. Bouncing ideas off of each other is great.

[He reminds her of Knock Out in that sense, even though they have very different demeanors and approaches to science.]

The universe you’re from, I hear, is a lot more connected than mine. Or at least, is further along in developing those interplanetary connections.

You’ve met people from your past here?

Oh wow.

I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. How did all these meetings go?
