[The video comes into focus on Abigail standing on a sidewalk in a costume.]
Kavinsky suggested I get in on this contest. Better late than never, I suppose. I've already donated some of my healing music CDs to hospitals.
[A car drives by at a high rate of speed, swerving off the road and nearly hitting her as it drives past. Abigail looks perfectly calm. She pulls a knife out of her sleeve and throws it at the car, hitting the tire. She does the same with a second knife and the car comes to a stop. She walks over to the car, opening the door and pointing at the driver.]
Drunk driver! He reeks of booze. There's a lot of them that go by here, leaving the bars. They're criminals too. Maybe they'll stop now that Abi-cat? Kitty-gail? Me..now that I'm on the case. So if you see me, don't think I forgot when Halloween was. I'm saving lives really, stopping these guys before they get to busy streets.
[Abigail busies herself with telling an on-looker to call for police and making sure the drunk driver is okay. She leaves the video feed on, in case anyone wants to talk.]

Re: Text
What about you? Are you getting in on the contest?
Re: Text
I find this contest far too weird as well.

It is - it could be a fun weird. As long as people like the pollen guy don't cause too many problems.

[One that she was losing back home. It's nice to feel liked in this world.]
It shouldn't be that way. But it is.
no subject
I don't mind letting others win, it's not a race or a contest for me.

no subject
Ah- well... if you prefer it that way, then I hope you win the contest, Abigail-san.

[ He still has very vivid memories of Watto's drunken temper. ]

Defend myself, if I have to.

You know how to? Size doesn't always matter in a fight, of course, but they are likely to be to larger than you. And you're armed which is good - do you know how to prevent someone from disarming you?

[She tries not to let too much pride into her voice. She had thought killing Nick Boyle was self-defense at the time, and with the way he attacked her, most would agree with that. And she felt so powerful in the moment. Still, he had turned out to be innocent in regards to killing her friend.]
And yes, though I usually don't let them get that close.
[Not anymore. She throws one of her knives behind her and it lands perfectly in the center of a small dot over the letter i in some graffiti on the wall behind her.]
Besides, this guy's barely conscious. The bar should have taken his keys.

[ His words aren't flattery and they aren't personal - he's just stating what he knows would be her mark-up highlights. ]
I don't disagree with you. But I'm sure you'll run into others. Which city are you in?

[Abigail pulls her hair back, just long enough for him to see the spot where her ear was cut off and the scars that formed over it. Given her costume, it's the only scars she can easily show. She then lets her hair fall back in place, covering it up.]
I'm in Nonah.

[ Anakin motions to the still healing lightsaber burn on his face, crossing his eye. ]
Scars don't make you not pretty- uh Abigail.
[ Yes he checked her network ID. Because he hadn't til now. ]
Most of us have ones you can see and more you can't. Ventress was trying to take my head off with this. She failed, I survived. That's all it is.
I'm in Norah too most nights. If you need help, if something gets out of hand, you can call me ok? You don't have to do things alone.

[Abigail's never really seen herself as pretty, even before the scars. The papers back home had said one of the reasons her father had been able to find girls that looked like her to kill, had been because she was plain.]
I didn't survive back home, not in the end.
You could come down here, if you want to hang out with me.

[ At least to him it was. ]
Let me let my wife know where I'm going, I'll head to you.

[Letting Hannibal cut off her ear was something she did to survive. Or at least, she believed him at the time.]
Okay. [She moves the video just enough to show him the street signs at the nearest intersection, so he can find her more easily.]
video --> action
[ Give him twenty minutes and he'll come walking around the corner, calf-length blue surcoat, Jedi boots, and gloves with gauntlets pulled on over what look to be somewhat fussy street clothes. His lightsaber on his hip is hidden by the surcoat. ]
Abigail? Things still ok?
Re: video --> action
Yeah, it's been pretty quiet. Maybe they're getting warnings that I'm here.
action
That's good. I'd offer to put some serious fear into the bartenders but I'm not old enough to go into the bars.
[ from his tone, he finds this very odd. ]
no subject
[Abigail says it jokingly.]
I wasn't old enough when I first got here. I am now; I doubt they'd listen though.

[ 'Jedi Business' clears the way pretty easily. ]
You have knives. I have a sword made of plasma and some other Jedi tools.
no subject
[She thinks for a moment.]
Jedi. I've met a couple people from your world. [They've gone back home since she knew them. She's been in this world years, seen many people come and go.]
If you wanted to, couldn't you just plant the idea in the bartender's mind to not let drunks drive?

Also...cat puns.]
If you stay pawsitive you can save lives.
I'd be careful with the knives, regardless.
video
What? These knives?
[Abigail takes three knives, juggles them with ease and then lands them on her fingertip, one-by-one before putting them away.]
I'm totally careful. [And fortunate enough to have a knife power given to her in this world.]
video
Sounds like you certainly have the right cattitude.
[Why.]
They don't cut up your outfit? Or are your fingers immune to knives? That's a neat power.
video
It's a knife power. I can do pretty much anything I want with knives. I'm good with a rifle too, but that's because I grew up hunting.
text
I'm pretty good with knives myself but not to that degree. Maybe you could teach me later? When you're not trying to win a contest. I think?
text
[Although she's not sure how much of her power is teachable, it was given to her by the porter.]
text
[Hahaha, well that might be a little white lie.]
Maybe you can teach me to throw them properly. I usually fight with one at close quarters...
Re: text
I can show you other tricks too, beyond fighting. They make cooking more dramatic.
