So. What's the deal with the end of the month on the 31st? Halloween? I didn't get to do anything with that growing up, mother didn't let me. The only parties I went to were for her organization. What does everyone do on that day?

It's my birthday but that is all I know about it. But it seems everyone around here is gearing up for some big event. I guess I'll have lots to do to celebrate.

They're bringing out things that are supposed to be scary but... They don't look scary at all. They should try having real ghosts.

Real ghosts aren't that scary. Besides the ghosts and things this world believes in...are strange examples of the real thing.

As for parties..I wouldn't say we have large parties but we definitely celebrate it together with food.

Where I'm from, they can be terrifying and take you to another world never to return, but some can be harmless too if you train them right.

It's a serious holiday on Earth. It's derived from old rituals about the harvest and honoring the dead. Now it's all about people dressing up. Kids go door to door to 'trick or treat' for candy. And a lot of people do parties. But there is also this whole 'spooky' thing we do.

Well, they like haunted houses and scary trips and things like that. Ghost stories. This is the time of year for it.

That sounds close to what I've read about back home. Do these ghost stories involve actual ghosts?

Not often. But I have dealt with an actual one, so sometimes, maybe?

It was... intense. I wasn't sure what I was doing. And someone was in danger at all times.

Halloween should be a very cool day. Kids trick or treat. They put on costumes and go door-to-door, say 'trick or treat' and people give them candy.

Adults can wear costumes too, to go to parties or to stay home and hand out candy.

Scary stuff is popular on Halloween, like scary movies and scary decorations for your house.
