H-hello. We are almost in December, and I guess Christmas is very important here- [ he has noticed all those Christmas decorations and songs, yeah. It's all a bit overwhelming, but he is going to get into the Christmas spirit too ] So I was wondering if anyone would be up for a Christmas dinner? I never had one, neither hosted one, but I think it'd be nice and different.

Me and Katsuki live in Maurtia Falls, and we can host the dinner here at the beginning of the month after the Welcome Ceremony for new imPorts, maybe. For friends, and friends of friends. [ kaneki smiles wider ]

If anyone would like to bring food or drinks you can, but I will be the one cooking, I've been reading a little about popular Christmas dishes.

Oh, it's only if you want to, since you mentioned before you wanted to try cooking on your own before.

Or if you want to drop by sometime, we can just cook our recipes together. I have to train once or twice before the real deal.

Ooh, ehehe...yeah, that's right. I still do, but this a recipe I know how to make pretty well, since my mama made it a lot back home, and taught me how.

[Ochako knows a few recipes from her mother, and can make them very well - family recipes that she grew up with - and very easily, but she wants to expand her culinary knowledge.]

Oh, we could do that sometime, if I'm not busy!! I think winter break is starting at school sometime in December, too, so that'd be perfect!

[Honestly? That hasn't been further from Ochako's mind than right now. She's personally had Kaneki cook for her - twice now, and they're cooked together in the past. Regardless of what he eats, she's sure he wouldn't do anything to tamper with anyone's food. Though, now that it's being mentioned...]

Mochi are my favorite snacks, and I'm really good at mochi pounding!! [She does it every year when she goes back to visit her parents for the holidays (when she's not super busy with school and her hero work). It's Ochako's favorite holiday tradition, and she's actually been praised for how well she does at pounding mochi among her neighbors and people around her town.]

Is that so? Then you should try making your own mochi, Uraraka-chan. You could do all the mochi icecream you'd like, right?

Sure!! [BRUH, YOU DON'T GOTTA TELL HER TWICE.] Ehehe, maybe not ice cream - that's harder - but if I can find azuki beans, I can make daifuku! I think there are some specialty grocers that may sell them, I have to look around...

Though I doubt America has the right tools for proper mochi pounding.

If you'd like to, and if you can trust my flavors. [ after all, kaneki DOES cook without any sort of understanding of the flavors he is putting forward, so he has yet to feel confident in his cooking ]

Of course I can, and I do!! You've already cooked for me before, and it was delicious each time. [He's a decent cook, for all he says about not being able to do it, and even not being able to taste or tolerate food like this.]

Plus,Katsuki often complains it's not spicy enough, so I need someone that wants to taste more than just burning.

Mmh...I really don't understand how Katsuki can eat things that are that spicy. It's not even food anymore at that point, it's just...pain.

[Ochako isn't a fan of spicy foods. She could eat the milder stuff, and even tolerate some with a bit of milk, but the things Katsuki would eat on the regular?? It was like knocking on the door to hell itself and asking the devil to be let in.]

I guess he just has a different palate. A lot of people are used to that sort of heat and still seem to be able to taste other food normally.

But don't worry, just in case I will have yogurt.
