[ The video is focused on a wooded area at the edge of a park, somewhere in De Chima. There's about two inches of snow on the ground, and some light flurries are drifting through the air. Wolf herself isn't visible in the video, but her furry blue cloak waves in the breeze at the edge of the frame, and after a moment or two, her voice pipes up: ]

... What's this white stuff supposed to be? We don't have it back home.

[ Sometimes you grow up in post-apocalyptic LA, and nobody tells you that snow exists. ]

That's snow. When it gets very cold, the water in the atmosphere crystallizes and eventually falls down to the ground

Since it's water, it will eventually melt and turn liquid again, so be careful not to get wet. [ or you will get a cold )= ]

Okay, so 'wet', but not actually dangerous. Probably just annoying if you're out in it for too long.

Children actually like to play with it a lot. Build things, have snow fights, things like that.

This wouldn't be any good in an actual fight. Maybe if you just wanted to annoy someone, or distract them and make a quick getaway, but this stuff isn't solid enough to land a decent hit.

Not an actual fight - play fight. They throw snow at each other.

Oh. That... I guess that makes sense.

You can also build things like forts, or walls. And if snowfights aren't your thing, you can build snowmen too.

It's snow. It's good for snow forts and sledding down hills. If you make a snowball, make sure there's no ice in it before you throw it. And don't eat the snow.

Why not? Somebody said it's basically just solid water. It wouldn't be any good if you were actually hungry, but is there something wrong with it?

Solid water that's touched the ground! That people and animals walk in!   It's gotta be full of bacteria.  I don't get why anybody picks it up and eats it.  It's like they wanna get sick.

Yeah, people can be real idiots in winter. Licking flag poles, jumping into freezing water, trying to walk or skate on water before checking if the it's frozen enough yet, all kinds of stupid shit.

Wait, what? The rest of that stuff sounds dumb, but why would people go around licking poles?

Cause they're idiots.  There's a story that if you lick a flagpole when it's cold, your tongue will stick to it. People lick poles to see if that's true.  Stupid, right?  Even if their tongue doesn't stick, they're getting all those germs.  And leaving their tongue germs behind.  It's fucking disgusting.

Yeah!  It'll stick to any metal.  So don't do it.   Don't get any part of you wet and then stick it to metal when it's cold out.   If you find some dumbass with his tongue stuck to a pole, pour warm water on his tongue and tell him to smarten the fuck up.
