[Today has been a pretty lucrative day, for Ochako! After waking up and having breakfast, she actually skipped her morning workout and training on the beach for entirely different. Much like a smaller, much cuter version of ye olde Kris Kringle himself, Ochako is out delivering gifts to her friends and teachers. Carrying a big bundle of goodies is no issue with her quirk, either. Tucking each wrapped gift into as large a travel bag as she could find, Ochako give it a little tap with one hand and it becomes light as a feather.

She out for nearly the entire day, if only because so many of her precious U.A. family are in other Gate cities, and even foot traffic during the final day before Christmas is an absolute nightmare, but Ochako finishes just before tea time (about 3pm) and looks tired...but happy. Time to curl up for the rest of the day with some hot tea, a few of her favorite Christmas hymns and carols, and relax a bit.

In fact, she pulls out her communicator as she gets close to her house in Heropa, shedding some of the thicker garments for those colder states she had to visit on her outing, and flicks on the camera to address the network.]

Hello, everyone!! Merry Christmas! Did you all get what you wanted? Ehehe... Anyway, what are some of your favorite caro--...eh?

[Please excuse her, there's something...at her doorstep. It's a large cloth bag that's, hrm...addressed to her? Ochako blinks, looking around curiously as her hair whips about, then goes to pick up the bag--] Ah! Heavy...okay, here we go--up!

[Another quick activation of her quirk, and she's tugging the bag easily along behind her, fumbling with her keys and her communicator.] Sorry...someone left me something. Um...th-thank you to whoever it was, if you're viewing this! That was very kind of you, though there isn't any name or anything...um. Just a minute, I'll open it now...

[Doot doot, she sets everything down then unzips the large clothe bag, turning the note over with a thoughtful hum and furrowed brows. Thanks? Who in the world--] Oh, these are cu--

[The rest of that sentence is cut short by the tearing of gift paper and a very audible gasp. There's silence a good long, long moment after before sudden movement, a box popping open, a squeak of surprise and a barely muffled sob.]

O-Oh my gosh...oh my GOSH!!! I-IT'S SO...IT'S... I CAN'T-- [Ochako flicks on the video, to show off a large box with a picture of a gorgeous telescope on the back, which is open at the top.] WH-WHO...WHO GOT ME THIS?! I-I'M SO...I'M--

[Is she crying? Yes. Ochako has wanted a telescope since she was seven - a few years after her Zero Gravity quirk manifested and she learned to really and truly love space and astronomy. Of course she never got one, because they're expensive, and she's never had that sort of money to spend, but...who in the world? Did she ever even tell anyone about this? She can't remember, Ochako is too fucking emotional right now. She may also be hyperventilating. This is like a dream come true.]

Th-This is...I'm s-so...! I-I...ah...hahaHAHAHA...haaah. [And, like that, she just. Cackles. Having lost her absolute mind before falling over backwards.

[Ochako is still leaning bodily onto the box, that wistful and dreamy smile on her face, but after a moment or two of just humming stupidly, she sighs and pulls back at last, so Momo can take a look at the box so it's not obstructed by the girl's arms and, uh....all of her.]

A-A telescope!! Someone actually got m-me a telescope! I can't believe it, Momo-chan... [Ah, she's starting to tear up again, but her smile is indescribable.] I've always wanted one, s-since I was really, really little! I don't know who got it, though, there's no name.

Um...i-it wasn't you, was it? [Because Momo probably has the funds to afford it, even here.]

N-no, that's not... [ Sure, she got Ochako a space-themed birthday present, but it's still sitting wrapped in her room, waiting to be given on the day. ]

There's really no name or card or anything?

[ She steps closer, looking over the box to see if there's something she can see that Ochako might have missed. ]

Oh...huh. [Well, there goes that, then. Ochako frowns now, chewing her lower lip as she tugs out the "card" that came with it. Definitely not Momo's writing in the slightest, but maybe she just had it delivered??]

Mm...this is all there was. Nothing else that I found.

[ Momo leans in to look at the card. The stationery is very much in Ochako's style, but the handwriting isn't familiar to her, either. ]

"Thanks?" Did you... do something for someone that would prompt them to give you such a generous gift in return?

[Likewise. She thought it was Katsuki's at first but...no. It really wasn't him - the handwriting is a bit messier than his.]

I-I mean, I...I do things for people all the time that I'm thanked for. I still go on patrols and do minor tasks and favors for people on my days off, sometimes. But nothing I ever thought would warrant something like this. Especially since I really try my best not to tell people any personal information!!

[ Momo frowns, thinking. ]

Curious... Do you think there could be any kind of malicious intent behind it?

[ It must have come from someone who knows Ochako well enough to know how much she would want a gift like a telescope. Surely, whoever gave the gift would have a reason for wanting to remain anonymous. Momo doesn't want to ruin the moment by being suspicious, but... She also doesn't want her friend to get hurt. ]

It's hard to say, but I don't think so... [Seriously. If someone really wanted to do harm, why get her something that she'd really, really like?] There's also these, too.

[Moving back, Ochako tugs out the pink gloves that cover most, but not every finger of each hand.] Only someone who'd know my quirk's specifics would get me this on top of a telescope. It's weird that whoever it is didn't say who they are, but...I think it is someone I must know.

[Ochako sighs. All this detective work on Christmas Eve is making her feel exhausted, and she's already had a long day running gifts around.] I guess I just have to deal with not knowing...

[ Oh. Those gloves are... very specific. It definitely is looking more and more like whoever bought these gifts has an intimate knowledge of both Ochako's interests, and her quirk. That ought to narrow it down, but... Not enough to really determine who it was. ]

Well... Hopefully they'll reveal themselves so you can say thank you.

Mm, I hope so, but I don't think so...if they went to such lengths to remain anonymous...

[Though she doesn't know why. Unless, m-maybe...hrm. Her nose wrinkles, brows knit together, then Ochako shakes her head. Nah, there's no use in thinking too hard about it. Just enjoy it and move on.]

A-Anyway, Momo-chan, I was thinking since we can't have fried chicken tonight, that maybe I make chicken croquettes for dinner tonight? I can also make other things, if that doesn't suit you.

[ Moving on really seems like the best course of action at this time. Perhaps the only course of action. ]

Chicken croquettes sounds like a perfect compromise. If you need me to pick up anything from the market for you, just give me a list!

Perfect!! I think I should have everything, but if I do need anything at all, I'll let you know.

[She should have most of everything. Cabbage might be scarce, but Ochako could easily replace it with some pickled carrots or another vegetable if she really had to...oh!!]

Actually, Momo-chan, you don't think it'd be too much trouble to pick something up for dessert? I hadn't planned on that, but you can get to choose whatever you want. I hope places are still open...
