[ The first thing you see...is the floor. Wow, that's a nice floor. And, based on that chocolate spill on the floor, it's totally the floor of a malt shop. Offscreen, you can hear two people talking--one of them (Hime's voice) is more clear than the other. ]

I mean, I'd like to make friends with everybody here, but I don't know anything about this place! I don't even know how many people are stuck here with me.

[ There's a pause, while the other voice says something that might be 'oh, there are about a hundred or so imPorts, I'd guess' ]

Ehh??? A hundred?! [ That statistic startles her so much that she just straight up drops the communicator. Getting off the stool, Hime peers into the communicator, almost to pick it up, looking into the camera. ]

Hey, what's this green light mean?

[ "Oh, that just means the camera's on."

Pause. Pause. And then cue Hime fucking panicking. This was just like the school introductions, she's already messed it up, how is she gonna properly introduce herself to people now??? There's a pause while she just is freaking out, face full of how am I gonna do this before she takes a deep breath, makes a little sniffle, and sets the camera on the counter. She backs up, showing off her blue hair and her outfit--somebody looks like she was dressed for the summer, though mercifully, some kind soul has leant her an oversized blue sweater. Panic still in her eyes, Hime quickly bows, trying (and failing) to do a formal greeting. ]

Hello! My name is Hime Shirayuki and I'm from the Blue Sky Kingdom but I lived in Pikarigaoka before coming here, I'm fourteen years old and like clothes and sweets, I'm going to be living in Residence number four, it's nice to meet you all and I hope we all can be heroes together! [ that all was said in like ONE BREATH and is punctuated by her bowing again. Straightening herself up, Hime still looks at the camera, obviously a little bit nervous. Like a hundred people just saw that oh my goshhhh. ]

And...if anybody knows people named Megumi, Yuko, Iona or Ribbon, can you tell me if they're here? [ pause ] Or Seiji. [ another pause ] Or Blue, I suppose. [ there's a pause and...no, that's it. Hime turns to the person behind the counter of the malt shop and asks ] Now how do I turn it off again?

[ One short explanation later and boop, the comm goes off ]
