░ FOUR. ▍TEXT.

[ oh well, look what day it is. with everything going on, it would be a shame if someone missed the reference. ]

Remember remember the Fifth of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot.

[ all right, to the meat and potatoes. ]

Significance reminder!! Note: Please take note that we've already had a lengthy Guy Fawkes conversation. If you'd be so inclined to keep the novelty down as he's unable to roll in his grave.

And what time would it be? Well it's history time!!!! :) Since Mr. Holiday still seems to be out of commission and unable to take calls, and we have a wave of violent naysayers that would so love another opportunity to liberate (I use it loosely) us, so I'm sure everyone has their work cut out for them. All this place needs is a little push before until we're full-fledged citizens, huzzah.

Now, what do De Chima, Maurtia Falls and Nonah all have in common? (Asiiiiiide from the obvious, ofc)

A long time ago in a universe far, far away....- there were 3 sisters. It's a little dry, but bear with me until we get to the juicy parts. N E WAY- The Sudiczki sisters decided to further their endeavors through living the dream of home ownership and mortal city founding. Amid readings I've found enough ironic jokes about the "strings of Fate" and "kindness of Fate" that would tickle anyone's pickle.

Amara married a rich guy in 1910. So we got Maurtia falls. Apparently it's always been a city for the less ethical and more business-minded. (Insert cough)

Lana headed off to follow her dreams of school in De Chima. She died in 1913, from what's rumored to be a series of experiments that she conducted on herself.

Claire founded Nonah, easily most prosperous of the three.

Now here's where it gets crazy........

Before Lana's death in 1913, she was supposed to contribute to the Nonah World Fair. Unfortunately we're a bit SOL on the deets, as all trails for the WHATEVER she was supposed to exhibit have long gone cold.

I hope everyone's enjoyed a little "possibly conspiracy" info dump. Tune in next time, etc etc.

It's worth a shot.

Outside the first letter of these sisters' names corresponding with one of the Fates, nothing yet.

If we were to presume they were connected to
[ or represented ] the Fates, then "Lachesis" was the first to die. I haven't found any texts on the mythology that talks about any of the Fates dying. If that's possible at all.

Atropos talked about rebirth when she made her appearance, too.

Lachesis would be the middle, Clotho was...the weakest -- those two seemed to be made by man, but weren't, but Atropos...

Well, The oldest sister is the one that brings an end of things.

Somehow I doubt he knows a lot about Norse mythology. He didn't know the Earth went around the sun until a few years ago.

Well, their bodies might have, but they'd moved beyond being AI at some point. Or maybe through awareness, they achieved godhood. I don't know.
selfequipped: (why is there so much glare)

[personal profile] selfequipped 2014-11-11 07:20 pm (UTC)(link)
It does, because there is still a good chance that someone won't read this conversation.

Put it in the top post next time, or use headers! Headers are great.

[Sorry Loki this is pretty much how the average conversation with Dio goes.]

My ambition would drive me further than anyone else here would be willing to go.

That is of course if I, Dio, were that kind of person any longer.

I'm more content to watch than get involved these days.
