[The camera switches on immediately to an annoyed sound. It's held at a strange angle, but from the posters on the back wall and the volume of Killua's voice, it's pretty apparent that he's in a classroom right now. He looks like he might die of boredom.]

Who the hell gives out detention for playing dodgeball? It's not my fault that kid didn't dodge. [Lowering his gaze but not his head to his communicator, his frown stretches downwards a little more.] Why would he try to catch such a strong throw? I think he wound up breaking some bones... [He mumbles that last bit, eyes flicking away as he continues.] I'll probably have to go say sorry later.

Whatever. I'm already finished with this worksheet, so I'm totally bored. Does anyone know what'll happen if I just leave? [He nearly seems set on leaving it like that before his eyes narrow in thought. He can be seen glancing to the door before mumbling even more under his breath.] Oh, they're probably waiting for me, though...

[Back to eyeing the camera again, his voices raises back to his low speaking voice.] Can someone tell me how to dodge girls?

[Trouble comes in twos; Killua wasn't the only one who had taken an extreme stance on dodgeball. Gon sits beside him now to no one's surprise, tapping the end of his pencil against the sheet of the paper. Unlike Killua, his sheet is completely blank and from the looks of things, he has no intention of filling it, watching the windows with a thoughtful eye.]

Maybe we could go through the window.

That's way too flashy!

[He hisses that under his breath, leaning over towards Gon's desk a little to emphasize his point. He's got a feeling he just suggested that because he thought it would be fun.]

We'd get caught instantly and wind up in more trouble. We have to be stealthy about it.

[Sort of. Escaping through the window would be fun and give them the chance to go visit the kids they hurt in the hospital. Killua isn't the only one who feels bad.]

I guess you're right. [Sighing, he slumps forward, pressing his cheek against the desk table.] Killua, do you think they're alright? Do you think they'd be scared of us if we went to visit?

[He does genuinely feel bad about that. But her asking that question, of all the things, embarrasses him, and he looks to the side, mumbling again.]

I don't know! They just keep following me everywhere. Maybe we can go out the window, after all...

Ohh, so that's where you guys are. [She'd seen the hullabaloo outside the nurse's office and just now put two and two together.] I wondered! You know if you're not there the whole time they'll just give you even more detention.

[He forgot to send a warning text her way that they'd be MIA. He was too busy getting scolded until now.] But seriously? Man...

[So he has to sit here the whole time anyway?! He slumps in his chair a little more, propping up the book he's using as a disguise for his phone as he frowns.]

There's a few of them that keep following me around... It's super embarrassing! No matter what I say, they just giggle.

Huh... I've been trying stuff like that, but don't they keep following you?

[They have been in his case. In fact, it seems to have the opposite effect in some cases. They don't take him seriously at all!]

You don't dodge them. [ He's assuming Killua isn't still talking about dodgeball. ] If you want them to leave you alone, just tell them. It'll be a little rough at first, but it's better, doing it like that.

But I think if you leave, they just give you more detentions.

I-I knew that! I'm just wondering if there's a better way or not.

[He really doesn't want to have to face them directly about this. It's weird?? He doesn't understand this and it's embarrassing??]

But I guess I'm stuck here, after all. If I can get the best advice as a whole before I leave, it won't be a total waste of time.

[Aaahh school. He- never went to school. But he sure knows what detention feels like.]

Inevitably, you could get suspended if you disobey enough. I'd expect that from Gon but not you, Killua. [Oddly enough, it could be the other way around on the surface. Killua just ditching and Gon being the one to listen and follow the rules at school but- Hisoka kind of sees it the other way around. Killua tended to be rather focused on doing well when he was pushed to. Put a test in front of the boy and if he knew he could do well, he'd just do it.

Gon on the other hand got distracted easily.]

[But then, it could go either way. Hisoka's not going to stick to one opinion or the other, and as he said- Transmuters are indeed fickle.]

[He sort of feels like there's no real 'good answer' to that accusation. He looks a little put off by it anyway, fidgeting with the positioning of the phone.]

Neither of us are that simple! I disobeyed on accident this time, but I did run away from home. [Don't... categorize him... He's so offended but he's not really sure which direction he'd rather be labeled.]

[Wh-what are with these responses? Why is nobody addressing the fact that Killua broke a kid's arm?! What's wrong with you, Heropa.]

It's not your fault that the other guy didn't dodge, but it's your fault for throwing it that hard in the first place. Dodgeball's supposed to be for fun, and that means nobody gets hurt. None of these kids are used to people who're as strong as you, you know.

[Inside, he feels a lot of regret at hearing this. Especially from someone like Jaime. On the other hand, though, there's a defensive irritation that rises as he shoves deeper emotions to the back as he's been trained to do.]

Ahh, I know already! [He snaps lightly.] I just got really into it and got my math wrong... [As in, there were overestimates and underestimates and just plain mistakes.

He adds on in a defeated mumble:] I already said I was going to apologize...

It sounds like they gave you detention for throwing the ball too violently at someone, not for playing dodgeball. It might not be your fault that he didn't dodge, but there was no reason for you to throw it that hard. [ No but really what was he thinking? She frowns. ] You should definitely say sorry at some point. If he has actually broken any bones maybe you should also offer to help him out around school if he needs some assistance carrying his books or anything.

[Similarly to Jaime, Killua feels guilt and regret at this response, too. It's so much easier to default to annoyance, though, as he avoids looking directly at the camera and mumbles.]

Yeah, yeah, I know... I was just letting off some steam as best as I could and I got too into it. [A quick glance back to the camera.] But there's no way he'll want me helping him out!
