 In case the rest of you are interested, the Soviets weighed anchor and sailed away from American waters this morning. 

The volunteers who came to Alaska should be commended for their service.

Looks like we kept the peace. Can't ask for much more than that.

Any update on how the wounded from the shelling are doing?

We made out pretty light. Doesn't seem like there'll be any real permanent damage.

Lucky for us. We're also lucky we got Samara back. It was a big risk, handing her over like that. But I guess it got the Soviets to back off, so I can't really complain.

She was aware of the risks when she volunteered, Mr. Taylor. As was I.

Yeah, I know that. Risks like that have to be taken on missions. Doesn't mean I have to like it.

I am grateful we were able to solve this with relatively little injury. Though, I doubt this will be the end of it completely.

Us, I would assume. It is possible this was all simply a test, to see how we would react and what we were capable of. There was no reason for them push too far.

There was no reason for them to do any of this at all, in the first place. Hell of a waste of time and resources.

Perhaps from our point of view. Without knowing what their goal was it is difficult to say that it was a complete waste for them.

Maybe. Almost wish we'd done the espionage they accused us of when they opened fire. It'd have given us something to work with.
