[ after several long talks with Kitty, Loki and Kanaya, Thomas finally feels like he's scoured as much of what's available on the network to him as he can, and picked the brains of the people around him who would let him.

Well, figuratively picked their brains. He could literally dig around in their minds, given that his telepathy has gotten better recently, but that's pretty rude, tbh. Only going to do that to people he doesn't like, and even then, only if he thinks he needs to. But either way, he has something that's actually presentable, and in a kind of organization that people outside of him (and Teresa) alone could actually be able to comprehend. So now it's show and tell time. ]

i know there's been a few posts like this already, so it's probably old news to most of you here, but i'm mostly wanting to get my notes double checked. though, if you're new, this might answer some questions you have.

[ he'll be attaching his universe/porter/all things everywhere notes page here, so people can look it over, either to get themselves up to speed on what this place is and what's going on, or for people who've been here longer to review what he has and let him know if something's off. ]

that's all I got so far. i'm mostly looking for stuff on the porter and how the universes and travel between them works. anyone see something i'm missing or something i got wrong? or just got rude commentary you wanna make? minho's not invited. [ he smells. also, this is thomas's mild way of saying 'i want all the information on lachesis and the porter i can possibly acquire tyvm'. if you read between the lines. ] anyway, loki's story about the sudiczki sisters was pretty obviously lacking. i'm gonna be heading out to check if there's anything i can dig up about lana, or the other two. so if anyone needs me, i'll be out of heropa the next few days.

anyone at Xavier's willing to let me borrow notes when i get back? [ he's not very good about caring if he's skipping school tbh. sry, professors. ]

[ this part is done as a video, and Thomas has his Getting Things Done voice on, with his phone propped up against some books while his hand busies a pencil over a spiral folded open in front of him, various travel brochures for Nonah and De Chima spread around his desk. ]

I know everyone hit deadends when they looked into this earlier, but unless it was Emma out there with them, I don't think they worked the telepath angle on it. [ aka Thomas is going to go pry into some peoples' heads and he'd like you to come with him. ] I'm heading to Nonah for a few days, then De Chima after.

It'd be cool to have some of you guys with, if you're not busy. You know. In case I piss some shank off and need to get sprung from the Slammer.

[ doesn't actually sound like a joke. Look, he spent enough time in the Glade's Slammer to know he doesn't have the best luck with this stuff. ]

Keep in mind that world's fair would have been a full century in the past. Anyone from that time who isn't dead must be well past senile by now. Our best chance will be in diaries or documents from the time, rather than minds that will have decayed.

[ but there's an underlying idea here, in his focus. one that she assumed from loki's original mention of the information, but didn't toss in her thoughts because they would probably have resulted in an unproductive argument. ]

Yeah, I'm thinking world fair would be a lot harder to get. But Loki already went through all the documents he could get his hands on. They've been censored out and archives removed. If I can find who did it, I might be able to dig up why.

[ he presses his lips together, breathing out a slow exhale through his nose. he didn't want to say it in such certain terms, but... ]

Maybe. It's an idea, but it could be a million things. [ he pauses, thinking. the porter doesn't seem to have a lot of lethal effects, but then again, who knows. ] It killed her, people are saying, but what if it just relocated her?

What she was working on killed her. We can't be sure it was the porter. But I doubt she was moved elsewhere, or elsewhen for that matter. She was said to die in her sleep, that means there was a body.

That's what I'd meant. [ 'it' being what she was working on ] In the hypothetical situation that what she was working on was the Porter. A body changes that, though.

I get the feeling she's not likely to have been buried in the community graveyard.

[ yall are still weird with how you even bury your dead. ]

Perhaps not. But she was a rather large figure in the city's history, I wouldn't doubt she has a very public memorial. Though it may not be unlikely for her to have been entombed in some elaborate mausoleum, either.

[ because if you're going to get buried, why wouldn't you do it goth as hell? kanaya can't think of a single good reason, unless you wanted to disappear from history entirely. that wouldn't have been an option for lana. ]

[ he thinks on it for a moment, chewing at a thumb nail. ]

Yeah, could be. I dunno how much use a memorial would be, but a mausoleum, maybe. [ but does he actually want to go try to dig up the dead? Ew. ]

I dunno. I'll have to see what's there first. Figure out where to start.

Unless the memorial is actually what marks the mausoleum, that would be considerably elaborate.

[ but hey, if he needs someone without qualms to grab a shovel. she's never worried about getting her hands dirty, despite appearance. plus, again, the only thing gothier as hell than being buried in an elaborate mausoleum is breaking into one to get a look at the bodies. ]

Well, keep me updated. If you need muscle, or just someone do the the heavier lifting, I'm your girl. I'd hardly like transportation to be my only contribution.
