[Some people have noticed that Manolo has been keeping to himself more so than usual this month. Even though it's too early to mourn, he hasn't felt particularly eager to get out much in light of Maria's disappearance.
But still, a promise is a promise, and Manolo is a man of his word.]hello everyone!
i hope you are doing well
in spite of some of the hard things
we have faced this year
you probably know this
but elections are soon
and i wanted to share a video
i made about why i believe
count dooku is a great leader
and would make a very fine ambassador
here is a link to the bluetube:[And sure enough, attached is a hyperlink that sends anyone who clicks straight to Manolo's video. It features him sitting in the grass at a local park, sunlight streaming through the branches, and a guitar resting in his arms. He's wearing a lopsided smile, and those who know him well will recognize that he's actually pretty nervous. Still, his grip on his guitar is steady, and his dark eyes are earnest.] My name is Manolo Sanchez. Thank you for taking the time to watch my movie.
The Count really cares about the well-being of imPorts and will do whatever he can to help us not only keep our communities safe, but also reach our fullest potential by being the best we can be. On top of that, anyone who talks to him for more than a few minutes will quickly realize he's got the wisdom and experience to guide us through these hard times.
When I worked with him in Mexico, I was really impressed by him! The speech he made was incredible and sincere, and I have no doubt he played an important role in helping us convince the Mexican government to help imPorts. He is also a kindly man who is as patient as he is wise. If you have a problem, he will listen to you and offer several good ideas, guiding you toward the one that works best for you.
And I personally think he can do so much more for the imPort community as a whole if we give him the chance.
Anyway, I am not so good with public speaking. Please accept this humble
guitarrista's song and consider voting for Count Dooku.
[With that, he begins gently strumming his guitar and sings a song that sounds a bit like this, although it's an entirely original composition of Manolo's with that distinct ranchera flare he's become known for. Since it's a pre-recording, his Heartsong ability isn't in effect, but his soulful words still carry his strong hope and optimism for a better future under Dooku's leadership.
Once he's finished, he looks into the camera with a soft smile.]Thank you again. I know we can do great things if we work together.
[And that's when the video ends.]
