video; since a wind-up is followed by the pitch.
And here, we have the Aurignacian flutes on loan from Germany for this exhibit on art and the ancient man.
[The voice doing the narration is caught in between imitating Robin Leech and the eager whisper of a hyperventilating music fan who bumps into Paul McCartney at Whole Foods. There's a sense that the video is being taken surreptitiously, with fingertips crowding into the frame to hold the camera at a not ideal angle. Hartley doesn't know the museum's rules on filming and photographing the displays and doesn't want to be thrown. ]
That's the Paleolithic period, for those who don't know. Woodwinds were around before we discovered metal, so have a little respect the next time you're rolling your eyes at the recorder in "Stairway".
[ He knows that you're out there, you guitar-and-drum rock music purists - or worse, people who think a drum machine is ever acceptable. ]
Anyway, the museum does pay-what-you-want admission on the first Sunday of every month, and the exhibit will be here another six weeks. I highly recommend it, if you're looking for things to do. I'm going to get back to enjoying the collection, now.
[ And the feed ends just as abruptly as it began. For those that would notice such things, the comm tag reads Hartley Rathaway. ]

Them's fightin' words, pal. Pick a flagpole, we'll settle this at recess. Like men.

Business. You're a silver-tongued shyster and your honor has been impugned.

Careful, you'll make me blush.

Would that be before or after you slap me in the face with an empty glove?

[ James wants to grind his teeth. He doesn't, which he decides to call a testament to his patience. He wonders if Piper's ever gonna like hearing from him again, or if that died right alongside... well, him, apparently. Which he'd kinda hoped would've been enough of an apology, but hell, maybe he's just gotten way too good at burning bridges. ("Get back to my life now," though, Piper, really? C'mon, man, that's cold and a terrible choice of words, you dick.)
He can't just up and not give a damn about the guy, which is sort of the root of at least three interlocking problems, but he can most certainly fake it. ]
Have fun shopping.
[ Chipper. Knowing. And he hangs up. ]

There were a million things that James could have said instead. Even, hey, Hartley - wanna sneak me in through the bathroom window and show me around the place? I'm not about to pay fer that crap, but I'll, y'know, look.
So he's not too disappointed when James hangs up on him, because he already was.
The cheapshot at the end though - that pisses him off. Like he can't restrain himself in the slightest. Like he'd be dumb enough to steal something he publicly recorded himself visiting. Like Trickster has no respect for him whatsoever. Let him hang up. Hartley's not about to call him back.]

How does anyone miss the point of Stairway that hard? It's a slow burn!
