Granted, she appears to be just wearing a gray T-shirt and a white bandana worn in such a casual manner, so it's not like she just went out on a fun montage and had a complete make over, but still. Fortunately, though, she has the same accent so hopefully not too many are confused by her lack of a hat.]

Got two points to cover today, folks. 'Preciate any help or thoughts on the followin' matters.

First: reckon some of ya saw my friend Croach's post askin' if someone could aide him in makin' a certain weapon. An' it got me thinkin'. Sure, him havin' his quantum bow 'n' arrows would be good an' all fer those times ya got diseased folks tryin' to eat your shoulder like a hunk of pork loin, but it made me think that ain't good enough to have on its own. If'n you run out of arrows, then what good is that bow?

Back home, he had this axe, right? It shot lasers. [Yes, really.] Lasers that were powered by some sort'a battery. An' if'n that battery ran out, well, then, you got yerself an axe. I ain't sure I have enough money saved up at this point to pay fer someone to make one fer me right out, but if'n yer willin' to do a payment plan I'm good fer it. Assumin' there were anyone in this time that can make one.

Gonna surprise him with it if'n I can get one, so don't no one say anythin' to him. I hid his comm in one'a my spare boots so he can't see this post fer awhile. [Smirks.]


Now, point two: [Puts on a more serious face.] Anyone with more of an insight to the government here mind lettin' me know . . . this whole Registered bein' responsible fer catchin' the Unregistered vigilante thing. They ain't goin' to be handin' down assignments or expectin' anythin' from us, are they? 'Cause I dun mind catchin' an' bringin' in someone callin' themselves a vigilante but are just a bunch'a jackasses causin' a ruckus an' doin' more harm than good, but I ain't too keen on bringin' in the ones that just didn't wanna be under the thumb of no government.

But if'n I'm told to bring in someone specific . . . ain't too sure what I would do.

Reckon he'd be usin' it fer the same reasons I'm usin' my guns: stoppin' any trouble what needs stoppin'. If'n it puts yer mind more at ease about it, he tends not to be as quick on the trigger as me. [Half-grin.] So he ain't gonna be irresponsible 'bout it.

They're not gonna make you chase vigilantes, there's already plenty of morons willing to do that without much persuasion.

I haven't been registered for that long, but if they asked me to do somethnig like that I'd become unregistered automatically no matter the consequences. I understand they want to keep track of us but they are already walking on a thin line as it is.

We're not their weapons. We're not their assets. We didn't ask to be brought here.

I ain't too keen to be on the wrong side'a the law again, though, so this makes me feel powerful uneasy.

I think that as long as you don't feel forced to register the choice is really yours. [Said choice was taken away from him if he wanted to save Hal, but he can't really say that. Not as Clark Kent.]

Staying unregistered isn't exactly being outside of the law, even if they do make their best to make it seem that way. I honestly don't think they will use imPorts to get other imPorts- they don't even trust us with the easier stuff most of the time.

Pft, some choice. Ya dare to use yer powers they gave ya to do some good you get in trouble. Up until now you could travel nowhere without 'em thinkin' you were doin' wrong if'n you weren't registered. Only reason I registered was to avoid that hassle an' to do more with my time here than just inspectin' gol-darn roombas.

Yeah, it's definitely not easy to stay unregistered. Especially if you plan to be using your powers- and especially, again, if you plan on using those powers to stop crime.

I guess they think we'd eventually become jury judge and executioner.
