It is a mystery for the ages- as is the fact that the dude stick costs 5 bucks. You could get, like, 20 tubes of the drugstore brand for that much.

Oh, right! Yeah, I ran into that kind of stuff when Alexis- my daughter- was growing up. I raised her myself, so I took her clothes shopping when she was little. Good grief, I could get some sticker shock sometimes.

Right!!? That's why all my clothes were hand-me-downs from my bagillion siblings. We get our money's worth!

Alexis is an only child, so I didn't have that luxury. Thankfully I'm well-off from my writing.

I am a mystery writer! I'm pretty famous for it back home, too- I've been writing stories since I was a kid.

I'm not QUITE that important. I have had the odd creepy fan here or there, but not so many threats to my personal safety because of my books. I do work as a consultant for the police, though, and that brings its fair share of dangers.
