[It takes a couple of seconds for the colour to balance properly on the broadcast and for his features to actually show up brighter. Once it does, he smiles and brushes wet hair from his eyes and fixes his glasses a little. He then moves the phone so the view of a beach behind him is visible.]

So actually being able to go to the beach has been a pretty cool experience. Sand beats a dusty road any day of the week.

Hey, I’m Conner by the way. Kinda new, just not really had much to say but thought I should maybe say something now?

Oh, this place doesn’t have a Big Belly Burger does it? Cause I’ve been craving one for weeks.

S'got a place with a really big eehhmmm outside that does the damn greatest fries I ever had in my LIFE.

[ Can you tell? Can you tell that he's only just discovered this fact by all these empty cartons he's surrounded by? Just the staggered remains of poor, innocent servings of fries and ramen litter his path of destruction, cementing the clear view that he knows nothing about keeping his shit tidy, but knows everything about what dipping sauce goes best with those deep fried sticks of what was once a carbohydrate. ]

But I dunno about the other place. Still kinda tryin' to get used to everythin' myself.

I haven't heard of that restaurant, specifically, but I'm sure it's possible to find something close.

Yeah still getting used to it too. There's a few differences...okay, there's a lot of differences that are kind of throwing me through a loop.

Well it wouldn't hurt to have that little bit more to the identity.

We could always go the cousin route. Having Conner get here a bit later than Superboy was a smart move- and if the Conner and Clark identities are close my power might help protect your identity as well. I'm really not sure how it works but it's worth a try?

Cousin route works. Yeah, I thought it would make it easier if Conner came in with the last bunch of people.

Yeah. I mean we've got the family resemblance thing going on any way. [Hahaha]

Well. There's the diner on [ this street and that one ]. I've always found it a pretty good bet. Their shakes are great, too, if you're into that kinda thing.

Conner Kent? Any relation?

Yes, we do. I'm pretty sure trying to deny resemblance would only get us in trouble anyway. Also I'm not the cook at Big Belly Burger but if you ever want to come over I'll definitely cook for you. [Just, you know. You'll have to handle vegan, Kon.]

Nope, it's nice to meet you Laurie. I'm sure it will, if it does good burgers and fries then it's already a good start. Milkshakes are a bonus.

It'll probably be fine, though. I think it's kinda hard to mess up the classic burger-fries combo.

Clark. Clark Kent?

Ha, I like my burgers medium, in a brioche bun with a nice sweet pepper relish and a tomato slice and some crispy lettuce leafs and with my fries, I like them thin and with a side of baconnaise. Or just a bun and a patty. Either or.

[He's mostly joking, but the idea f the first burger, does seem really good.]

Oh. He's my cousin. You know him?

He cooked dinner for my partner and I recently. I have to say I was most impressed with him. I'd like to be better friends.

And I think Diefenbaker was rather fond of him too.

He's a pretty friendly guy, so I don't see it being hard to accomplish that. So uh, was his food good? Never had his cooking before.

[ Fraser looks over to his right, and mouths something off screen, and a moment later a big white...wolf? jumps up, putting its front paws in his lap and panting in his ear. ]
