[ Francis is back on the network, sitting in his office in a reasonably relaxed position. He's worked hard, but he's at ease. ]
I want to thank everyone who responded to Nonah's call for assistance. [ It's good politics. ] Even though it was merely a hollow threat [ can't let an opportunity to poke at Crane slip by ], it might well not have been. With your swift and determined reaction, you have proved that should a more substantial threat emerge, the response will be swift and certain. [ the repetition is on purpose, giving people the boost. ]
No matter how a small minority of us might wish to sew discord [ another potshot, though a more general one ], we proved that our community as a whole are good, decent people, who only want to do our very best for others. [ Francis doesn't believe a word, but looks like he does, which is just as good. ]
