[The feed opens up to the view of a young child, about eight or so years old, standing away at arm's length. The feed is slightly tilted, and there's a frown as the child reaches forward to adjust the position of the camera. When they're satisfied, they lean back to their original position and wave brightly at the camera. Hello everyone!

Frisk isn't sure where exactly this place was, but they do know it's not anywhere close to Mount Ebott or any place familiar. Being dropped into a completely foreign place with strangers isn't new to them though. It's strange seeing so many humans after a long period of having monsters as company, but they're not about to be deterred.

But back to the point. Frisk holds their left palm up and slides their right hand over it, outwards, then points their index fingers up with both hands and touches the hands together and finally points at the camera, making a sweeping motion from right to left. It's nice to meet you all.

They continue with their signing, making the hand movements a little slower than usual for clarity. They're not sure if anyone will understand them, but it's worth a shot.

It's a short statement. I'm new here, let's all be friends! Once they're done, they smile, and then end the video.]

[Frisk giggles at the hyperbole, and then imitates a person eating something with very large bites. Omnomnomnomnom.]

[Max can't suppress the giggles that bubble up. This kid is so cute.]

[They beamed at Max and tapped their hands on the table, kicking their legs a little. When would the food come? They look over towards the kitchen doors of the eatery. They wanted to eat soon!]

[Seeing Frisk sit there, Max had an idea. Taking out her camera, she gestured to him.]

Want to take a picture with me while we wait?

[A camera! Frisk's face lit up. Boy, do they? They nod excitedly. How's it gonna work? Should Frisk move to sit next to Max?]

[Max scoots over, patting the seat next to her.]

Come on, then!

[Frisk instantly jumps out of their spot on the other side of the table and races around the table, sliding in to the spot Max patted and leaning against the teenager. They beam up brightly at her. What next?]

[Then, Max puts an arm around Frisk and holds out her camera with the other, getting ready to snap the picture.]

Ready? And... smile!

[Saying "cheese" is so mainstream.]

[Frisk will reach their arm up, putting their hand behind Max's head, and then make the biggest grin they can. Smile!!]

[Is he doing bunny ears? Max doesn't care, because it is PICTURE TIME and nothing can top PICTURE TIME.

After the camera flash, Max pulls out the polaroid, giving it an easy shake before taking a look at it with Frisk.]

Well? What do you think?

[Yes, of course they're doing bunny ears, because the best part of taking pictures is making bunny ears.

Frisk giggles as they see the bunny ears they've put on Max in the picture, and give her a thumbs up. Perfect.]

[Max can't help but laugh at that, and she holds out the picture for Frisk, offering it to them.]

There! A commemorative photo!

[Aaaaaaand now she kinda feels like a tourist. It's worth it, though.]

[Frisk takes the picture reverently. This is the first item, gift, they've received here. They stare at it, and then bring it close to their chest. They'll treasure this photo.

After gently setting it aside on the table, they lean forward to hug Max.]

[Max is surprised by the hug, but she kinda gets the feeling that she shouldn't be. After a moment, she wraps her arms around them, returning the hug.]

[After a nice, long moment, Frisk releases the hug and beams up brightly at Max.

And then the food arrives! As the waitress puts down each of their dishes, Frisk hops out of the seat and scrambles back around the table to sit down at their original spot.

Food!!]

[Yes, food. By now, Max is so hungry that she practically wolfs down her salad and garlic bread. It's so worth it., too.]

[Frisk just gives Max a thumbs up. Like her, they're wolfing down the spaghetti and fries. A bit messily too, but so far there have been no accidents on Frisk's shirt.]

[Max can't help but smile at that as she eats. But Frisk is right; the food is good. It's not quite as good as Joyce's, but it's still delicious. Besides, Max is really hungry. For now, she eats in silence.]

[Frisk somehow manages to finish their food first, and it was darn satisfying. They pat their tummy contently, their face a mess of crumbs and sauce.]

[Max eats more slowly, and manages to not get sauce all over her. She giggles at Frisk's face, offering them a napkin.]

Maybe you should clean up.

[Oh. Oops. Frisk takes the offered napkin and carefully wipes their face clean. Is that better now?]

[Max giggles as she alerts the waiter, ready for a box to take her food home in.]

Much better. Do you want dessert?

[Frisk nods energetically, bouncing in their seat.]

Yes please!!
