Superheroes, is it? I just hope they don't make us wear costumes. Not even I can pull off spandex. Although if anyone does feel they look good in it I'm open to being proven wrong.

So this Porter... has it seriously been operating thirty years and they still don't know how it works? It seems awfully convenient they can't stop it taking people yet they know time's stopped for us and we'll all end up back home exactly when we left eventually. Does anyone know if it's true, or is it just something they're saying to try and make sure we're good boys and girls for them?

The Porter's very mysterious... I don't think they're telling us the truth entirely, but I've seen some things that some of it makes a bit of sense they haven't figured it out yet.

Spandex is not one of them.

Well, everyone I know that's gone back has come back and said they went right back to life was it was.

So... as far as I know, it's actually true. A few of my friends have gone through it.

The time thing is a little funny, but it's definitely capable of some pull-point screwiness. The machine... I don't really know how they've measured what they say they've measured about it, the data's not available, but it's able to do some pretty amazing things.

Not that that's good. Not good amazing, just... Objectively 'whoa.'

Some people enjoy costumes. [ yep even spandex ones. Though, kaneki can't talk, his battle-suit is all about showing off curves. ]

According to what... everyone says, the Porter is a machine that used to be under military control, but it was hacked - or possessed - by an AI that refuses to communicate with anyone. It decides who comes and goes, who goes back home for a couple of days, too.

Those people who went back to their worlds, are returned to the exact same point in time they've left. We know this because the Porter enjoys sending us back and forth.

I don't really think the spandex is mandatory. If it is, I missed out on that order.

I don't honestly believe the government can control it, though. If they can, they're making a very bad job of choosing people who are both willing to register, and stay on the right side of the law. If they're trying to build their own personal army, their selection committee should be fired at once.

I don't think heroes typically have much of a criminal record.
