It has been an eventful couple of weeks hasn't it? I don't know about anyone else but I'm still getting 'thank you' cards in the post. From the people in Nonah mind you, not from Miami. Has anyone else noticed things seem to go to pot wherever we go?

It's given me plenty to write about, both on this network and off of it. To be honest though, I never thought I was going to spend my first wedding anniversary in a parallel universe listening to the news talking about monsters popping up everywhere. I hope that anyone who got caught up in all that is okay.

And that's about it. I've been thinking about organizing a little get together at one of the bars here but that can wait for another time.

No. I tried ringing him to see if he was interested in coming, but the call wouldn't connect. That usually means one thing doesn't it?

No need for sir, John is fine. It doesn't feel like a year but that is what happens when you get brought here. Time gets all mixed up.

It's fine. Yeah, she's back home. Safest place for her really, considering everything that has happened here lately.

I don't think there are many people here that expected to spend any of their time in a parallel universe. I'm sorry that you've ended up stuck here on your first anniversary though, that's got to be really crappy and lonely.

Good point. None of us really wants to be here I guess and it isn't too bad. The whole cohousing and bottle of wine took the sting out of it.

No, it isn't really that bad all things considered. It could be a lot worse. Wine does have a good way of taking some of the sting out of things.

Yeah, as long as it doesn't become a bad habit. I don't like to drink that much but yesterday was special and I figure a few of us could benefit from a night out.

But you're right. I have seen a few of them and they weren't great. We've got it lucky here, all things considering.
