MTT-BRAND VLOG#2: Back from the sunny south!

[ As per usual, the robot of Heropa Residence #023 - a very pretty, androgynous, gorgeous robot and tv star, thank you - has taken up to vlogging in the main living area of his housing, not caring much for the other residences when he has branding to do. He gives the camera a flamboyant, campy wave, blows it a kiss, and then tosses his glossy hair. ]

Hello again, lovelies! It's been so, SO busy for me since I arrived! It's true I am a super hero, so I have hero-ing to do and such. Still, what a mess! But the show must go on, even as the less than stellar people out there want to ruin everything all the time.

[ He huffs, folding his long metal arms across his pink chest plate, shaking his head in disapproval. ]

My show, GlamCam!, will be returning to the air soon, darlings! I was away down in Mexico during some unfortunate political messes - but I'm back and gathering plenty of material! But I'll tell you, as someone who spent their whole existence in the underground beneath a mountain? The amount of SUNLIGHT down south, just... goodness me! So bright and gorgeous and HOT. I mean, I can't feel heat, unlike some of you poor folks, but I know you like to complain about it! Everyone gets all... shiny. What is that, anyway? Body water?

Regardless, tune in next week for another episode! I'm back, babies!

[ Well, now he's absolutely delighted - he's never really met anyone who does similar work before! Being the only superstar from his home under the mountain, and such. ]

It's funny you should say that—I haven't met a single ghost here! That's highly usual for me. But I have met quite a few before coming here, and that's coming in very handy for my show. You see, I'm using this accumulated knowledge and my own excellent taste to dispense romantic advice to the lovelorn!

[Or something like that. The producers were sort of vague. It seems to work.]

Oooo! Love from beyond the mortal coil, is it?! I love it! After all, it's the wisdom of the past... blah blah blah. So you do that "shipping" stuff with actual people? How fun!

I'm not any kind of shipping magnate, but I do try to assist the lovelorn when I can, and now it's my job! And what an enjoyable time it's been.

It's a way for humans to cool down. It also happens when we're nervous or scared.

That's... pretty much it. I've never heard it described like that before, though.

Oh, you poor, sweaty humans! All because it's hot out? My dearest Alphys gets sweaty, true, but that's because she's a nervous wreck.

That kind of happens to me, too. People sweat for a whole bunch of reasons. But mostly when it's hot.

Hmm, that sounds unfortunate. Glad I'm all metal and magic - I don't have to worry about ever not looking perfect.

It obviously went on hiatus while I was away! Though a lot of the material I have is very... hmm, I think you'll have to watch to find out!

...Although I have to say I've mostly been enjoying the programs where people bid on boxes in old garages or cook things in nice kitchens. [you know, the shows meant for stay at home mothers and retirees.] Can yours really compete?

Oh, goodness, I used to have a cooking show, too! I miss that a lot, now that I think about it... honestly, I can't taste or eat anything myself, but my fans said my recipes and instructions were outstanding!

[ Now he's off on a tangent, thinking about trying to grab another tv slot. He likes to keep busy! And in the spotlight! And make crazy money! ]

I believe that shine is what human beings call perspiration -- or, more commonly, sweat. They expel liquid from their glands in order to attempt to cool down when they are overheated.

[ Oh, this one looks like a non-human. His smile seems a bit more genuine - another monster, perhaps? Robot? Hello, friend! ]

It's a gossip show about imPorts! Since we imPorts are "special" and famous, naturally the public wants all the dirt. I'm from a background in entertainment, so this? I'm used to knowing what the public wants. Real crowdpleasers.

A gossip show! I know that many of our actions do make the news on occasion, but are our daily lives truly so intriguing to the general public? What sort of news do you typically report on?

I'll be honest - it's not entirely news in the sense of great, exciting things, like war or peace. It's mostly who's dating who, or who made a fool of themselves on the network, or what's fashionable with the imPorts in which cities... that kind of thing. Daily life, darling. it keeps the public's minds off the things that hurt, you know.

Then, if I am not mistaken, anything that is said to you here may be repeated on your television show?

[That's probably a slight invasion of privacy, but Saint Walker doesn't personally mind in the least.]

It seems that it's quite a lot to pay attention to, from day to day -- but some inconsequential preoccupations are often good to have, if not only to keep from dwelling too much on the darkness.

[ Bingo. His smirk is kind of sly, cheeky. Amused, really, that nobody on the network bothers to think about what they put out into the world that can be accessed and shared. It's his JOB to do it, after all. ]

We all need hobbies. Mine just involves getting paid and being in the eye of the public.
