Video - Ambassadorial Address
[The feed opens to Revan standing with a somber expression, hands clasped in front of him in warm yet muted light.]
Greetings. In light of recent events I feel it is my responsibility not only as an Ambassador, but also a member of the import community to come forward and address the concerns of my recent actions.
During the occupation of the Porter cities, I had the honor of standing with many of you in the defense of our homes of liberties. And as many of you may be aware, the valiant actions of our peers did not go unnoticed by our Host Nation. A Nation, I will remind you, that sacrificed thousands of innocent lives to destroy a single military research facility. While they lauded our actions as noble and brave, at the same time the feelings of many were not mutual.
It was the choice of several of these Defenders, myself included, to take a moral stand against such flagrant disregards for human life by refusing to accept accolades for our actions. An act that was seen as disrespectful. And by some, boarder line seditioius.
First I want to say with the entirety of my being that it was not my intent to disrespect the US or President Freemason with our actions. In fact it was quite the opposite. It is because I faith in the foundational ethics of this nation that I am willing to put my own reputation and position as Ambassador on the line to speak out when I feel the US is taking actions contrary to it's own standards. If I truely did not care for it, I would not attempt to intercede against such toxic and self destructive actions.
However, whatever my intentions may have been, it still remains up to you to decide if my actions were as noble as I intended, or ill conceived. And I encourage you to come forward if you wish to discuss these events. Either to show me that my efforts were not in vain, or if you believed them inappropriate, I will consider what you have to share.
While anyone is welcome to comment, I would like to call out my constituents in Maurtia Falls especially. As your Ambassador I have a responsibility to also represent your own interest in affairs such as these. And if I have failed to do so I ask that you inform me as such.

How much do you know about what happened when the first imPorts arrived in the eighties?

And the funny thing is, the people who were in power at that time hid behind aliases- less than half of them were ever found and identified.

But again, I spoke truly when I said I was ignorant on the topic. But you suspect that those same "faceless" people are once again asserting themselves?

I think it's possible. The disappearance of Secretary Chases- and the fact that no one seems to know where she went- is worrying. But I won't make that accusation publicly until I have proof.
Honestly, persuading people that the course the current government is taking is worryingly similar to the previous one may be more persuasive than suggesting that bombing what they see as an enemy city was a bad idea. The work imPorts put into overthrowing them is part of why there's so much goodwill for us, despite how dangerous some of us are.
