Video - Backdated to the 3rd of April
[ Another video post. Here is Carl Grimes, wearing his sheriff's hat. The bandages around his right eye. He's sitting down on his small desk in his bedroom. ]
Hi.
[ He doesn't feel as chatty as he was in the last post. He looks like he's struggling what he's trying to say. ]
I know how to handle guns. Just . . . stuff you gotta know, back where I'm from. But, uh, I got a problem now.
[ He gestures to the bandage around his right eye. ]
I lost an eye. Doesn't matter how I lost it, I talked about it plenty before. But the thing is that I'm not very good at shooting as I used to be.
So I was thinking . . . does anyone ever had something like that before? I need to relearn how to shoot again. It's important. For me.
[ For Dad. For others. But he doesn't say that, but his tone implies as such. ]
Anyway. That's it.

I've had to relearn how to use a gun before. Twice, actually. I might be able to help.

[ He's curious about the circumstances, but he's not going to pry. ]

Really. Sustained injuries that made my usual stance impossible, so I had to learn a new one and a couple tricks.

How did you figure it out.

I was stabbed in the shoulder. That left me with rotator-cuff issues. [And then he got shot a couple times but he's not here to "brag" about his multitude of "on the job" injuries, okay.] I used to teach at the FBI academy. They helped me figure it out.

[ He doesn't know how to go around this, asking people about their injuries that messed them up for life. ]
Does depth perception mean you have to adjust your posture?

Your dad is okay with this, right?

Re: voice
He'll okay it anyway.

Prove it. Maybe you can get him to figure out how to send a text for once to let me know.

Carl?

Carl hasn't really talked to Sasha since the Seminar, where he was trying to talk Sasha out of being brainwashed. Now he feels bad for not only his harsh words to her, but also the fact he never checked up on her. ]
Hey.
video
[ Without knowing what caused his injury, she immediately jumps to the worst possible conclusion: the Russians did it when she had kicked up a fuss at the Seminar. ]
Are you alright?
video
[ She looks concerned in all the wrong, gut-wrenching ways to Carl. He sort of feels bad now. ]
Hey, don't worry about this wound, if that's what you're thinking.
video
[ Is it permanent? His post is suggesting it is and her stomach recoils at the thought. ]
video
How about you? How are you holding up?
