So the skateboards are kinda cool, but isn't there a store anywhere that sells normal rollerblades? Like the kind with wheels? They keep trying to push these 'hoverblades' on me and I don't even think they work like they say they're supposed to.

The ones I left at home. They're...detachable, that's the word...the part with the wheels slides into a track on the bottom of my shoe, so I can remove them if I just want to walk around normally.

I have the shoes, I need the wheels.

You're correct that hover technology has some bugs to be worked out. I've been working at it, but it's far from perfect so I can't blame you for avoiding it.

But classic roller blades would be fairly simple to construct. If all else fails, I could take a crack at building some.

No...well, they can be in an emergency. But not normally. They're a type of transportation, to get you around faster than walking or running.

[You could definitely inflict some damage with a set of rollerblades, especially applying them to someone's head.]
