One would think that someone with nearly a thousand years of experience throughout a galaxy would find it easy to acquire employment.

One would be incorrect in that assumption though. It has been a very long time since I have had to seek a new path in life. In fact it was not something I ever saw as possible or likely. Yet, here I am and if I wish to acclimate further to this world I must find something. If not only to ward off the restlessness this place can bring.

My skills center mainly around combat, meditation, and my biotics. Beyond that though I have a considerable amount of experience with the galaxy at large, at least in the universe I am from. I was told if references are required Commander Shepard would be willing to provide such.

So I ask if there are any Imports that know of places hiring or might be interested in making use of my skill set, please inform me. You have my thanks.

Perhaps for some. I have lead many lives though and learned quite a lot from each one.

Something like that. My people go through a phase in our lives when we seek to learn as much as we can. This often involves a considerable amount of galactic travel.

I think you would make a very good instructor, Samara. For combat or meditation. Though I guess you could instruct in other things too?

There is quite a lot I could teach to one willing to learn. Though I am uncertain how many would appreciate my methods. Most would consider the training I am used to rather intense.

A few people could probably use some intensity in their lives. More imPorts than the local folk around, I think, but still!

There's always RISE. They're an import run force that tries to minimize the danger from imports themselves.

its all due to the areas in which that experience lies i think
combat isnt an easily marketed skill
not outside of firms that are typically import-helmed to begin with anyway

though im sure you could be pull off the scariest babysitter in this universe or any other

That is the problem I have encountered. While my skillset is carried and vast it is also rather unmarketable. Unless I had a desire to return to mercenary work.

I am uncertain if babysitting is a true option. My past record with that is not impressive.

it was a bit of a joke
mostly because i dont think youd be paid your worth babysitting
unless you were the bodyguard for a very rich persons daughter

but i suppose thats the problem with mercenary work
it doesnt suit you to much other than more mercenary work
unless youve considered law enforcement

I guess that's a tough question to tackle for you, Samara. But you've got enough experience to have some options.

Have you ever thought about teaching? Maybe combat or meditation. Or philosophy.

Kasumi suggested similar. Though I had not considered philosophy. What brought you to that suggestion?

Hard to say. I guess you've just always seemed like you know a lot about life. You've definitely lived enough of it to pick up some wisdom. I know I've learned things from you.

It helps that you talk pretty plainly, too. People don't have to wonder what the hell you're talking about, and that's more than I can say for some other people.

Have you ever talked with the Dendarii? They might be interested. They need people with combat skill, and IMO they REALLY need people with meditation skill.

No. I cannot say I have spoken to them. What precisely do they do?
