[Angela turns on the feed. She looks a little tired as she's spent most of her time trying to learn about this place as well as working. She's speaking with a slight German accent.]

I thought it may be time that I talk here and introduce myself. My name is Angela Ziegler, I was a surgeon and field medic back home among a few other things. I might be employed as a school nurse, but if anyone thinks that they may need healing, don't be afraid to ask me for help. I promise I don't charge. Well, at least not a lot. [That was a joke and she smiles as she says it.]

I've been here for a few days now, I've learned a few things but I would welcome anymore information people can offer.

Have you had anyone with actual injury or harm to deal with? That might make a difference, and if so, I may have a way to test it in a controlled sort of way...

There's a thing you learn how to do, when you become a skilled enough thaumaturge. [The first step down the path of the true black mage, in fact.] I can convert part of my life energy into aether, if I need more for a spell in a hurry.

We could go find some poor rock or something I can burn some energy on, then do that, and then you could see if you can heal the damage.

Fairly frequently - I won't say it doesn't hurt in the moment, but the pain is less than any number of injuries I've sustained and had healed on the battlefield, and that extra spell at the right time can make the difference between an enemy defeated and an enemy restored to full strength by their allies or their own magics.

If you're concerned about my recovery should your powers fail to work, it's the sort of thing that a night's sleep in a good bed is more than enough to recover from, so barring an ambush in the middle of our exercise, it's no trouble. And really, if we're being attacked with no warning, we already have much larger problems to worry about.
