TEXT; accidents happen
[This was meant to be for one person (Carl), but today her hands are a little bit clumsy it seems - so, dear imPort community at large, you get this:]
hypothetically: what would be an ok gift to give someone you're cool with+getting to know? just give me your first 3 ideas.
[Only after sending this does Enid realize her mistake. But she'll roll with it. Because Father's Day is coming up and a part of her cares just enough to think about it. For, er, some people she knows. Any suggestion is cool.]

what gave you that idea?
[deflecting this very much, because this is public. and maybe she shouldn't have asked that last thing.]

well in that case, think of alexandria as your example. what about someone from there?

Probably some cool knick knack I found in an abandoned house. Like a wood carving or a music box. But that's Alexandria so you can probably get something better here. like one of those useless box toys, those are cool.private text

Snacks? If you don't know what they like, you should get a few of your favorites. Then they can get to know you too, and you can see if your tastes mesh.

maybe something else entirely.

friends? family? coworkers? somebody you want to bang?
no subject
none of the above? maybe, friends? there will be no getting to know them more than that.
[this is just her thinking of giving people she knows (well, sort of knows) simple gifts, all in some spirit of father's day. but yeah, she's still going to be vague about it, sorry.]

just get 'em whatever they like then. like hobbies and shit
no subject
and it's not as easy as that. i'm not even sure they know what they like anymore.
so i guess, any general ideas you have would be cool.

Carl likes comics, Big Cat bars, and video games. In that order. Could probably use a new silencer for his gun, if one of them came with him, too. Since we ain't had a lot of those to go around the armory before.

(Why everyone seems to assume this means dating in some way, is beyond her, though. And she's not gonna think about that right now either, help her god.)
Some delay before a reply just happens.]
